  1. There's NO chance that one of these will ever in my safe.
  2. For the safety of the citizens as well as the police officers, their departments should be certain they are knowlegeable of the current laws.
  3. Different town, similar experience.
  4. Welcome back to Tennessee.
  5. While he was stupid enough to allow the incident to occur, it seems he was smart enough to get a good lawyer.  I hoped he has learned to use the safety and a good holster.
  6. It took awhile to become completely comfortabe to carry a pistol.  Time and finding a good holster will contribute much to becoming comfortable.
  7. If I am exposed to these tactics in a store, I will be less likely to purchase from them.  I will make an exception for walmart if they send me a coupon for .22 ammo.
  8. I have two post recall XDs, a 9 mm and a 45 acp.  The trigger on each has been acceptable and they have been reliable with any ammo I've put in them.
  9. I saw the article in the Nashville paper.  My comment was that the memphis newspaper didn't want to inform its readers of the new laws.
  10. It's as stressful for an officer as it is for a driver to be stopped on the side of the road.  However the officer is required to put his safety at risk on a frequent basis to do his job.
  11. I've had to check the laws of several other states as I travel in 3 other states on a regular basis.
  12. The TGO LG 101 is a great knife.  I ordered another Pro Tech yesterday.  If there's any problem hitting the min order, I may take an additional one.  I'm looking forward to getting the Godfather.
  13. jarhead seems more skilled at making videos than shooting a pistol   Most would have looked at ammo and other factors before blaming the pistol.
  14. If I'm stopped I'll be nervous.  I don't want the officer and myself both on edge.
  15. BladeOps.com was happy to sell me the Pro Tech I'm looking for.
  16. They'll never equal a 1911  :stir:
  17. Glad your got back home.  Many animals get lost or hit by automobiles when they panic from the noise.  I live in an are where fireworks are illegal, but most ot those using them don't care if it bothers me, my animals or starts fires on other peoples's property.  it's part of the price of living near Haiti - North.
  18. Parents and education might be a start in that direction.
  19. I own a glock but only one as I have an immunity to glockitis.  I can't say they are better than any of my other pistols, just another tool.  That said, some tools are more useful than others.
  20. While I can continue to shoot for years at a reduced rate, when I find a reasonable price I try to buy enough to not hit the reserves.
  21. I noticed that 'the commie appeal' didn't bother to report this or the knife law in today's paper with other new laws  taking effect today.
  22. My LG 101 will be in my pocket today!  Thinking about putting the Gerber MK II in the truck, so I can start the new knife law out in TN properly with two American made knives.
  23. KnifeCenter.com still asks for certification as law enforcement or military to purchase an automatic knife.  I'm waiting for a reply from them as I've bought several knives from them in the past.   Got a reply from KnifeCenter.com.  They will not ship to other than active duty military or law enforcement.
  24. I'm against scalpers trying to rape shooters on the prices of ammo.  Would you like a few gallons of $9.00 gasoline?
  25. I'd have to believe the monarch steel case ammo was the problem, not the Glock.  The only Glock I have has been very reliable.
