  1. I have had the SR1911 CMD model for over a year and it has been a nice pistol.  I've had no problems with it.
  2. Remember Christmas is only 158 days away. I'm looking forward to opening packages with this knife under the tree.
  3. This is the reason I frequently keep up to date on the carry laws of the states I enter.  If you are a passenger on an aircraft which is dirverted due to weather, the airline can land you in trouble.  You could be arrested after planning a legal trip with a weapon to your destination state, if the airline changes flight plans and lands in a state you can't legally carry in.  I will NEVER mistakenly or otherwise enter new jersey.
  4. I have two .45 acp Commanders and they are fine pistols.  I'm sure a 9 mm Commander would be a nice pistol.

    Congrats on a nice pistol.
  6. correct answer-   C.
  7. Congrats on the puppy.  Both of my hounds are old and would never tolerate a puppy in their house.

  9. 1805 E. Lamar Alexander Pkwy Maryville, TN 37804   I've got it on my list to visit next month, but not sure if I'll try the 80 oz steak.
  10. I'll look up the address and make it a point to stop there on my next trip in East TN. :usa:
  11. I had a similar problem when reloading lead RN several years ago.  I resolved it as Lumber_Jack described above.  I haven't had this happen after I finished that box of lead.
  12. Try several different guns and you will find one that fits your hand.  The 1911 feels good in my hands.
  13. I haven't looked for amy .22 during the last month as I have been working in Atlanta.  However now that I'm back in TN hopefully I'll find some reasonably priced ammo as well as time to shoot it.  I'm hoping the days of gouging walmart .22 are coming to an end.
  14. The last three holsters I've bought were Crossbreed.
  15. I had a chest freezer for a few years.  It was given to me and when I stopped using it, I gave it away also.  I said if I got another it would be an uprite model, but I haven't enough use for one to buy it.
  16. Like OS, I'm not shooting .22 very much lately.  I got a Henry .22 this year and would like to shoot it more often.   Just a few years ago, it was 9 mm that I couldn't find and before that .380.  I'm not ready to sell any of my ammo or guns now or likey anytime in the near future.
  17. I haven't needed a gunsmith but have heard that Tommy Bronson's has a good one.
  18. The only reasonable choice was to drive away from the incident.  However I would have called the police after I was at a safe distance.
  19. I don't believe the petition will make any difference.  The number of signatures on it will not accomplish anything useful.
  20. Congrats on the permit.  I went thru several holsters before getting a Crossbreed.
  21. Glad your dog is back home!   Years ago someone stole my bluetick hound out of my truck.  Several weeks later I got a call from a rescue group in the next county telling me they had her.  The few dollars I'd paid for a microchip was well worth it.
  22. I'd like to hear the explanation to the insurance agent after someone gets injured.
  23. $ sent paypal for #49 Thanks for putting this together willis68.
  24. I thought the chinese resturants usually got them.
