  1. Congrats!   I've had a Rock Chucker press since 1978 or 79.  It sits on the same bench as a Dillon progressive press and is still in use.
  2. I have a desert sand Dark Angel from Protech. It's my favorite OTF knife.
  3. The Brend Auto #1 and Large Don have 5" blades but the 4" Godfather is a nice size for carry.
  4. I try to avoid rhino situations.
  5. DeSoto Rifle and Pistol is now located in Como, MS.  It has 3 pistol ranges, a general purpose 200 yd range and a 600 yd range.
  6. Blade HQ and KnifeCenter have been happy to take my money for automatic knives.
  7. Atrip to Nashville isn't complete without going to Blackstone and M.L Rose.
  8. I'd be interested in learning how well it works.
  9. At the times I need to run a generator, the electricity is more important than the noise.  My neighbor may curse me but I can't hear it over the noise of the generator.  During past outages I've offered to let him plug an extension cord into my generator but I will not make that mistake again.
  10. Several well grouped hits with RN are better than many misses with the most powerful HP round.  I also carry a P938 and my concerns were determining that a round feeds everytime and having spare magazines.   I try to practice often and make the best effort possible to avoid the necessity of putting that practice into use.
  11. Which ambulance chasing **** will file a case against the manufacturers of forks because people are overweight?
  12. I can't decide which blade I want.  I'm in for #49 - regular and tanto blades.  PayPal will be sent after I reach home this evening.   Thanks for putting this together!
  13. I got a P938 and after months of feeding it, I hope it doesn't gain weight!
  14. I liked Benchmade knives but had a problem getting them shipped to TN.  I haven't had a problem getting ProTech or Microtech shipped.
  15. I'd like to forget that three month wait and just think of the short renewal times.
  16. The last fixed blade knives I bought were the Gerber MK I and MK II.  I like the Brend but a 7" blade isn't very practical for me.
  17. Flying helicopters and firing weapons have both affected my hearing as well as years of industrial work.  My hearing is damaged but I realize I must protect that which remains.  I wear ear plugs in my ears with hearing protection over my ears when at the range.
  18. Prices were the same.  Ruger magazines for the 6.8 Ranch Rifle have been impossible to find since I got the rifle in 2008.  The 10 and 20 round magazines from ProMag were the only other option to the 5 round Ruger magazines. That alone made the $13 worth it.  Otherwise this show was normal with one or two new vendors.
