  1. My first lever rifle was a Henry .22. A few months later I got a .44 mag. These rifles are fun to shoot.
  2. Congrats on a fine rifle!  I've got to start visiting the CMP store more often.
  3. If the g43 had been available it might be in my holster instead of the XDs9 and P938 pistols I now have.  I don't see that I have a need for another small 9mm pistol.  I've become attached to those I have and am comfortable with.
  4. The best way to handle situations such as this, is to avoid them to begin with.
  5. My XDs9 and P938 provide the same use to me but they do it differently.  I wouldn't want to part with one or the other.
  6. My P938 has been a great pistol for carry.  Small, accurate and dependable.  I can't think of any reason I would ever put it in half-cock.
  7. "A legislator" probably wouldn't be available as a defense should a problem occur.  There are a few who like to push the limit but I'm too old and value my time and savings too much to be the test case.
  8. I like my 27 so I'd probably like the 26 as well.  I could see myself getting the 30 and the 26 if the prices were right.
  9. I haven't felt the need to consolidate my ammunition calibers yet.  I buy the calibers of ammunition when I find good prices and use it for practice.  I haven't bought 6.8 spc or .38  in quite awhile as I don't shoot those often.  As long as I add to my inventory instead of depleating it, I'm happy.
  10. I'm sure WIllis68 and Protech will do an excellent job.

    Wake up call

Hope the cardiologist gives you good results. Anything less than a full checkup isn't enough.  At 65 he's one of the yearly appointments I won't miss.
  12. I'm sure you'll be impressed with the quality of the Protech knives.  Almost all of my auto knives are Protech.
  13. Glad to hear she found a pistol that meets her needs.
  14. Solar is great for LED lighting but not too good at conversion to AC by power hungry inverters.
  15. The more I look at the TR4 online, the more anxious I become to get one in my hand.
  16. I prefer the online store.
  17. I've had good service from HP over the last 15 years.  I had Toshiba, Dell, Compaq before the HPs.
  18. If the price is too good to be true- there's a reason!
  19. These inexpensive knives have another good purpose.  After seeing the prices on them she doesn't realize how much I've spent on the ones in the safe.  She sees no difference in a Lightening and a Microtech.

    Glock 34

I haven't shot a G34 but it's one of the pistols I considering now. I can't recommend an OWB holster for the G27 but it's a great pistol for IWB.
  21. Great place! One of my customers likes to get lunch from Hattie B's.  We usually get get a mixture from Southern to the Damn Hot.  One piece of the Damn Hot is enough!
  22. You should be seeing it in the mail in the next few days.
  23. I've never had a problem with any of the 1911, XD or XDS Springfield Armory pistols I own.  The XDS is very comfortable to carry for an extended time.
