  1. One could be done as a one year anniversary of TN knife freedom. :usa:
  2. My wife would probably not agree with that!
  3. I hope they'll have Uninsured Shooter coverage available.
  4. My daughter-in-law and her husband drove in from TX this week.  He brought me over 2500 rounds of .22 that he picked up during the last few weeks in Dallas.  Hopefully the weather will be good midweek
  5. The TR2 arrived this afternoon.  As other Protech knives, it looks nice and fires quickly.  The size is perfect for everyday carry.  Thanks willis68!
  6. I have several guns with MIM parts and none has had a failure due to it.  Initially, I didn't trust the use of polymer in guns however it has shown that it is a reliable material.
  7. Most of the legislators think our money is their money.
  8. I am a Life member of the NRA but stopped donating to them several years ago.  Shortly after I paid $1000 to for Lifetime membership, the NRA dropped the price for new members. I had several of their insurance policies which I have since canceled.  A few years ago I was in the hospital as the result of an accident and the NRA endorced policy refused to pay a large portion of the claim.
  9. I wouldn't have a problem trusting my reloads for self defense.  I primarily load .45  and buy factory ammo for other calibers.
  10. Not likely to pass in Washington, and even less likely the average soldier will be allowed to carry on base.
  11. I've pocket carried a 442 but seldom carry it after getting an LCP and P938.
  12. I've bought about 50 guns and the only problem I've had was with an AMT .380.  The only S&W I've owned were revolvers.
  13. Every gun safe should have a LE6920.
  14. I doubt that this group of kids was on the way to choir practice at the local church.  As I gotten too old to fight or run, my options would be limited if I faced a group looking for trouble.
  15. In the past, I've had to face some mighty large artillery in Franklin and other Twin peaks locations.
  16. You'll likely have the high score in the class as you've taken time to practice.  My wife had never shot a 1911 before and shot the high score in her class.  If you have a good instructor you will enjoy the class and hopefully have your permit in a few weeks.
  17. 3 students and 1 instructor
  18. I looked at several online sites today for .22 lr but I will not pay the prices they want.  I'll sell my guns that use .22 before I pay the current prices.
  19. ......Please do not bring a single ounce of the Massachusetts liberal mentality with you.     Check each state's laws on a site such as handgunlaw.us and carry a copy of Title 18 - part 1 -chapter 44926A which can be found on that site.  I would plan to stay on the Interstate and not stop in New York if possible.  If you travel around D.C. stay on Interstate.     Have a safe trip and welcome to Tennessee!
  20. In the past, a Colt 1911 was $230  and a new corvette was $6000.  Hopefully you're worth more wages today than in the good old days as well.
  21. I took this class several years ago at RangeUSA in Memphis and it was two days of excellent training.
  22. I like my mini 14 6.8 but it's impossible to find magazines for it.
