  1. As much as I like my current TR4 with a stonewashed blade, I'm really looking forward to the two-tone TGO model.  This knife is as American as it gets!  :usa:
  2. Possibly there is no logic to their numbering system.  As long as they work, I don't care.
  3. While I know the military doesn't change according to petitions or public opinion i signed the petition anyway.
  4. I'd prefer that all soldiers and citizens be armed.  Anyone who passes the background check to wear a uniform should be able to carry a weapon.  Every NCO should have a duty to carry a weapon as he is responsible for the enlisted soldiers serving under him/her.
  5. Thanks for in info on the tool, as  I've been looking for one.  Hopefully I can get the Ultratech to operate as it should.
  6. The attitude of Microtech toward their customers is the reason I will never own another product from them.
  7. It requires both hands to retract the blade on the Dark Angel by the single action design. It takes both hands to retract the blade on my Ultratech when it should require only one. I want to like the Ultratech but as it is, that difficult to do.
  8. I've never had a problem from any of the guns I carry, revolver or semi auto. I usually choose an auto because my reload time is faster.
  9. Check for leaks around the valve with dishwashing soap and water. Also check the date on the tank as some suppliers will not fill them after the expiration date. If in doubt, new tanks aren't expensive. Welcome back the TN!
  10. Congrats on the Benchmade knife. After getting my first quality knife I knew I would never carry an import again. Be careful. Good knifes can quickly be become an addiction.
  11. I have a Ultratech but haven't been happy with it as it's difficult to operate. The Dark Angel by Protech has been my favorite OTF knife.
  12. He probably didn't read the warning label.
  13. Nice pistol!  Let us know how it shoots.
  14. When it wasn't fun anymore I knew it was time to drop out.
  15. I've spent time in several countries  and always been grateful to return to the USA and TN.  There's a reason much of the world is trying to get into the USA.  Those who don't understand it are free to leave at anytime.
  16. I haven't owned a Dan Wesson yet, but it will be one of those considered for my next pistol.
  17. obama would say "You didn't build that business".  However with the help of obama and clinton it's done well.  Each has contributed to our success.  :usa: I have several items from Outpost Armory that without them I might not have.  Congrats to those putting this together and hope this venture goes well. :usa:
  18. If you give signals that you aren't comfortable carrying a gun, others will question your motives for carrying it.  As said above a good belt and holster contribute much to the carry and concealment of a weapon.
  19. My TR4 Punisher has caused several other knives to reside in the safe since I've had it.  The TGO Punisher probably will not see much use untill it's carried by a grandson.   The safety switch allows me feel better knowing there is a 4 inch blade ready to jump into action while it's in my pocket.   Several of my knives and guns get to relax in a comfortable safe.  The others have to earn their keep.
  20. I'm surprised that Cracker Barrel management didn't complain to you that you upset the sheep.
  21. I've had several good knives over the years but Protech is the only brand I've carried for the last year. As willis68 said above the TR4 is usually in my pocket.
  22. I've got a TR4 in my pocket now but I'm waiting to get the TGO model.
  23. I had that problem with my 6.8 ammo.  The person who tried to pick it up probably had never seen this caliber before.
  24. Let us know how this gun shoots.  As I have several pistols in 45acp it might be a good addition.
