I stoppped there last week while driving from Knoxville to Memphis. Got several boxes of ammunition and will stop there again on the next trip across TN.

The only problem I've had with the 40 sub compact is my wife thinks it belongs to her.

The 9mm will carry 2 additional rounds compared to the 45 acp. This wasn't a factor in my choice of the 9mm however. I have several 45 pistols in this size. The 9mm pistols I have were full size and subcompact. The RO Compact fits my need for this size pistol in 9mm.

I purchased a 9mm RO Compact last week. I chose the 9 as I have two 9mm 1911 pistols and several 45 acp pistols.

I've ordered from Brownell's for years and always been happy with the results.

I started the upgrade before lunch yesterday and it took most of the day. The only remaining item is connecting my Kenwood TS590. As I become familiar with it I like it better than Win8.1. Still undecided if I like Microsoft Edge.

What do you use as a test gun for ammo ?

Most of my reloading is done for the gun I plan to use the reloaded ammo in. -
Between competing addictions it's a challenge to feed both!

As I patiently wait for these knives to be built, I look for another knife or gun to feed the addiction and finally spot a SA Range Officer Compact in 9mm.

I looked at several Benchmade OTF knives this weekend while I was waiting for for a background check on a pistol. My next OTF will probably be a Benchmade.

There is nothing in IL that would cause me to cross their State line.

I got a G27 in 2009 and it's been trouble free and easy to carry. I haven't seen any reason to get another glock as this one does what I got it for.

In basic training at Ft Polk, I trained with an M14, M60, M79, no pistol. Before going to my first assignment, without training time I qualified with an M16. During that assigment I was required to attend practice time with these weapons and a 1911.

I've been happy with my LCP for pocket carry. Had it for 2 years with out a problem.

As much as I like my current TR4 with a stonewashed blade, I'm really looking forward to the two-tone TGO model. This knife is as American as it gets! :usa:
