  1. I had planned to purchase a G43 but after handling each I chose the Shield. I believe I would be happy with either pistol but the Shield fit my hand better.
  2. If I had it, I'd have to shoot it. No space for safe queens at my house. I'd probably get careless and put an idiot scratch on it while cleaning it.
  3. The advise to keep training records was given by a high ranking member of local law enforcement. I also believe having insurance is a good idea, but I hope I never have the need to use it.
  4. A few years ago I decided I wanted a Henry rifle. There are three in the safe now.
  5. I keep a file showing training and range receipts should I ever need to prove to a jury that I have trained and practiced in a responsible manner to maintain or increase my skill level.
  6. Most of my pistols stay in racks in a safe with the exception of two that stay in holster with frequent cleaning.
  7. I've paid as high as .30/round but now that I have a few boxes I only buy when I find lower prices. I haven't fired more than a few rounds of .22wmr in several years now.
  8. My pocket gun has changed from a 442 to LCP to P938 over the years.
  9. It looks interesting, but I'm not ready to trade/sell a 1911 to get one.
  10. This is a question that's better not answered around my wife.
  11. Insurance company notification to DMV that a policy is no longer valid will prevent most drivers from letting their insurance lapse.
  12. The best way to endure the wait is file and then forget about it until you're notified it's ready.
  13. I have two M9 pistols and two M1A rifles. In the past I had two TRP pistols. They are not identical but are the same models.
  14. In a short time you will be old enough to obtain an HCP. If you carry before that time and a game warden or police officer charges you with a crime, it will result in a criminal record will be a burden for many years. Patience is the best answer.
  15. I'll have to stop there this week. I need a set of 9mm dies and some primers. I've usually gotten my Dillon products on line.
  16. I haven't used any steel case in any of my pistols or rifles.
  17. I've had my Victory for several months and been very happy with it. It will be even better after a few more months waiting for my suppressor.
  18. Good description of why I haven't been to a gun show in the last two years.
  19. Congrats on getting your first silencer. I've still got a few months to wait.
  20. I rarely ever sell a gun, so I haven't had to worry about purchasing another of the same model. I've failed to purchase some that I would like to have and not had a second opportunity to buy.
  21. I will make sure I keep my guns and money away from Levi stores.
  22. As a 1911 person, I didn't want to like the M9. I have two of them now and they have been accurate and dependable. When I see one made in Tennessee then I'll have a third one.
  23. In a few weeks I expect to see several responses expressing regret at not ordering this knife.
