  1. I've made several bets offering to give the microtech to coworkers if any of them could open and close it with one hand. I haven't lost yet.
  2. The problem with my microtech is, it is difficult to extend and almost impossible to retract the blade. Otherwise it is a good knife. The Protech Dark Angel has worked very smoothly.
  3. It appears about 1/3 of the closing stores are located in malls. I'd much prefer to shop online than go to any of the malls I've seen in the last few years.
  4. My last car rental in Philadelphia was $52.03 for a day, with 37% as taxes and fees. My next rental in Denver will be $446 for 5 days, with 25% as taxes and fees. My hotel stays in Smyrna, Knoxville and Nashville during the next few weeks will have about 16% tax.
  5. At my age, every time I renew, I think it is probably a lifetime renewal.
  6. Sounds like a good start for the weekend!
  7. I've had a P938 for several years and been very happy with it. After the first range trip and cleaning, it has been reliable and trouble free. On days when a small pistol is necessary, it has replaced my LCP.
  8. I would go in Starbucks more often if the liberal stench didn't overwhelm the coffee.

    9mm 1911

I have a SA RO Compact and a RI in 9mm. Both are nice pistols and have performed well.
  10. I hope the Walmart .22 hoarders are going to have a difficult time
  11. My Dark Angel is a much better OTF than my Microtech. The single action of the ProTech is superior in operation to that of the microtech which has been a continual problem.
  12. At that price, I won't be making space for one in my safe!
  13. A better move for S&W than changing a name, would be relocating their manufacturing to another state.
  14. If size isn't an issue I'd look at a SW22 Victory.
  15. I haven't had seller remorse but have had buyer remorse from finding a gun I should have bought, only to find it sold by the time I went to purchase it.
  16. The weather, clothing and activity determine my choice for carry. M&P Shield, P938 or LCP.
  17. The only item I've got from them was a Yeti cooler a few years ago. The other times I've been in Gander Mountain I didn't find what I needed or didn't like the price.
  18. During a FOX interview by Tucker Carlson, Ami Horowitz said, " Sweden had its first terrorist Islamic attack not long ago, so they're now getting a taste of what we've been seeing across Europe already." - NY Times
  19. What idiot would sleep in a parking lot in Memphis?
  20. Mine requires a firm force to open but I will be more careful about how it's placed in my pocket.
  21. During the 50+ purchases I have made I have had this happen a few times. In TN each was cleared within a few days. In GA the hold was cleared in a few hours.
  22. This site is very informative on anything related to the 1911.
  23. The nfl took a knee to our Flag. Now I'll take a knee to their game.
