I had that for several months, wandering thru gun shops and wondering why you left empty handed. But in the last six weeks I've acquired two new pistols.

Lead is usually required to protect silver and gold. I keep some of each.

The only reason I keep the AMT Backup is to remind me to never purchase something like it again. I should have known not to buy a gun made in CA. I haven't given or sold it as I would worry they might have it fail at the wrong time.

Cheap prices on a cheap gun aren't a bargain. If I don't have confidence that I can depend on it 100%, then I don't need it. Many years ago I had an AMT that could have cost me my life if I had needed to depend on it. Never again!

I've tried both when I was young, but wouldn't have the patience for either now.

Both are good guns but I'd pick the Winchester.

House Passes Concealed Carry Reciprocity

While waiting for the background check for a purchase to clear, a gun store employee make a remark in favor the reciprocity bill. After I asked is he had a problem with Boston, Chicago or LA making the decision on what and how he could carry, he began to see the future danger of national laws on concealed carry. Carry of my purchase or the purchase itself wouldn't have been legal in some parts of our Country. -
I can't say I'm surprised as I have 3 or the 5 listed. The 938 and Shield are tied when judged by my carry time.

My first SA was a XD45. I've put a lot of lead down range with it. It's enjoying retirement beside the bed now.

I'm waiting to see the price and availability on the TRP. I'd like to see a TRP or DW 10mm in my safe before the end of the year.
