I frequently carried my G27 before getting a Shield. Both have been dependable but the difference in size and weight result in the G27 sitting in the safe.

They could fill the empty space with PETA hunting guides and a starbucks.

My first thought as I started reading, was of the 6.8 SPC sitting in my safe. I don't want another headache like that was.

I have an EMP40 with the 3" barrel and steel frame. The 9mm does well with the lighter frame but the 40 needs the steel frame. It has been 100% reliable and accurate. However if I get the new model it will be a 9mm.

Check on the ARRL website to find a Radio Club near you that offers classes and exams. Online practice tests such as qrz.com are very helpful also.

After the morse code requirement was removed from amateur radio licenses, it's not difficult to enter the world of amateur communications. In two weekends I obtained a Technician License. A few more weekends resulted in passing the General Exam. However, preparing for the Extra Exam took quite a bit more effort. AK4SZ

I'm not sure how fast applicants are processed for permits now, but renewal times have been short. It's good to a part of government that operate efficiently.

From my experience, none were good! Most of us bring our own food when we know we will be given MREs. Even my hound has standards for a meal.
