  1. I would rather face a jury with training and a permit than without it. The laws are not different concerning the use of deadly force for trained or untrained, but having the training would show your intent to know and follow the laws on firearm use.
  2. As the laws in different states are continually changing, it'd be good to check the websites and print the current laws for the states you enter.
  3. If he can't pay the fee to obtain a permit, how does he plan to pay bond, legal fees, fine and court costs when he gets caught?
  4. I had 10 days left!
  5. The Federal government is beginning to have much in common with the illegals it seeks to protect.
  6. The gun shots brought back fond memories of high school trip to Vietnam! The few times I've been there were enjoyable, but I couldn't live there.
  7. If I could have used both hands, it would have been easy!
  8. I think the XDM is a nice pistol, but not enough to sell my XD and pay the difference. Unlike my 1911s, the XD holds 13 rounds and I don't worry that it may get worn or scratched. The grip safety gives it an advantage over the glocks. I know I'll always have an available supply of 45 acp ammo, as most of my pistols are chambered for it.
  9. London? NYC? There's too many cameras on patrol cars and intersetions in Memphis at the moment. At anytime, I expect to get a warning from Agore that I'm using too much toilet paper!
  10. The primary reason I have a G27 is for carry. I'm still looking for the holster that is perfect for my application however.
  11. A few hours at the reloading bench. Should have been getting yardwork done, but it'll just grow again.
  12. As a frequent customer at Guns & Ammo, I've found them helpful and polite. I can't make those comments about the newspaper!
  13. The church I attended in Houston several years ago, had reserved parking for law enforcement and military. The pastor often spoke of the virtues of the 45 acp and 12 gauge shotgun.
  14. No, but the shock collar must be uncomfortable.
  15. Rayburn needs be concerned that he could become one of the victim stories.
  16. not many of them were my age!
  17. If you don't KNOW the facts, it's better to use a phone than a weapon. If you guess that the facts are and you're wrong, you will probably pay a price.
  18. Immigration isn't the problem. Criminal, illegal immigrants are! I've known several citizens who came from other countries legally, studied and worked to become American citizens.
  19. I got an RCBS single stage over 30 years ago, it still works fine! There's now a Dillon 550 on the other end of the bench also. The most valuable tool you will have is one or two good reloading books, before starting reloading.
  20. Welcome! Guns, cars, they're both addicting.
  21. He should've knocked her back to memphis!
