  1. I've found the Ultra CDP II to be easy to conceal, accurate and reliable during the 2+ years I've had it.
  2. Ch.790 , FL Statutes outline presumption of imparement, testing methods- 0.10 impared, 0.05 but less than 0.10 may be considered with other evidence in determining imparement. www.uscarry.com is a good source of carry permit information of the different states.
  3. I keep several magazines loaded and try to rotate them every few months.
  4. I'd prefer to go to DPS and have the receipt in hand.

    Retread Tires

I'm more interested in saving my life than saving a few dollars.
  6. With a dalmation and several coonhounds in the yard, a mole wouldn't have a chance here.
  7. I was tired of the foreign gator but it'd be difficult to sell me their insurance with this commercial
  8. If it doesn't work well in hot, humid climates, then I don't see much use for it.
  9. Places to shoot? Memphis has plenty! Some are at the local ranges.
  10. I have a handgun permit for a reason. I don't plan to attend a gun fight without a gun. If I carry correctly, only a metal detector or search by a LEO will reveal it. I'm not a PC kind of person, so I leave my computer at home.
  11. A better poll question for the staff at CA - Will the CA reporter lose control of his/her body functions if they observe a legally carried handgun?
  12. Always treat a gun as if it were loaded. That means it should always be loaded. Never go to to a gun fight without a gun. Preferably the largest gun in the gun fight.
  13. You should immediately ship this pistol to me for a lengthly evaluation.

    Info on 1911

I'd be concerned about the Essex frame. Quality parts on a weak frame doesn't sound like a good combination. I would think the value of this pistol would be low. If I were to start a project gun, it would probably be based on a SA or Colt frame.
  15. I prefer to have a larger round than .380 for self defense. At the same time I'm considering an LCP as a backup and times when a larger pistol is difficult/impossible to conceal properly. Many years ago I had a Walther. Should have kept it.
  16. I'd keep the FL permit also as it's good in a few states that TN isn't. I'm waiting for a FL permit now.
  17. I leave the person waiting on me a good tip, along with a NO guns, NO cash card to pass to their manager. When the waiters lose good tipping customers from bad management decisions, they aren't happy.
  18. I don't go to the gun shop for medical advice, nor to the doctor for gun advice! Both are useful in their own areas.
  19. As an old soldier I'm probably more than a little biased, but I like my M1A. In fact, it's standing across the room in the safe, waiting to got to the range!
  20. Marksmanship is often like golf, fishing or politics.
  21. Before I purchase a gun, I research the prices and availability. It's rare that I sell a gun. I try to do business in a manner that I don't have a problem when I look in the mirror every morning.
