  1. The last few gunshows have been a waste of time and entrance fees.
  2. When I make any change, I make it on a single stage press and test it before proceeding to a large quantity made on a progressive press.
  3. I shop on-line, Walmart, Guns & Ammo, and Bass Pro depending on what ammo I need. Restocking reloading supplies has been a problem after Osama got elected and Sportsman's Warehouse closed. The gun shows have been overpriced as well.
  4. I trust my reloads better than any purchased reloads. My reloads are made for accuracy, not maximum production. The warranties are written to protect from those who disregard safe reloading proctices.
  5. That should be about enough for an M1A and an AR.
  6. The light weight and hammerless design of the 442 make a great choice for carry.
  7. Florida Statutes, Chapter 790.015 (3) states your permit will remain in effect in FL for 90 days following establishing FL residence. More info can be found at http://mylicensesite.com A FL resident or non-resident permit costs $115, is valid for 7 years, in 34 states. www.usacarry.com also has info on FL and other states.
  8. I got a denial for a .22 rifle several years ago, but during the last 15-20 purchases the problem hasn't happened again.
  9. As the sign indicates a church, not a school, I'll treat it as such on weekends. During the week, it's a school.
  10. Most of the people wearing NFL logos don't play for the NFL. I don't think criminals look for gun logos or decals, they look for opportunity and inattention.
  11. A purse or computer bag left in sight is more likely a target than a vehicle with a gun related decal. The auto break-ins I've experienced had no gun related identification on windows. In a truck a pistol was not taken while breaking the dash to get the radio.
  12. That was my experience in Millington, several months ago. Handed him permit with license, he looked briefly at it handed it back, thanked me for producing it, never asked any question about weapon.
  13. I've taken several classes after the HCP class. A permit makes you legal, but training is important in building skills.
  14. The only bad purchase I've made was in 1998 when I got an AMT 380 Backup.
  15. The fact that we can't bring a weapon on the parking lot of most employers, prevents many from having the ability to protect themselves as they drive to and from work.
  16. I have an XD40 subcompact as well as a G27. Both have been good pistols, fire a variety of ammo, accurate and dependable. It would be good if you can rent or fire the models you're considering.
  17. Mine runs the length of my garage, and it's still messy!
  18. You've got a gun you like overall. I'd keep it, as I've heard many comments about someone wishing they hadn't sold a gun they had.
  19. Welcome! Hope your permit arrives soon. The 642 was a good choice.
  20. I've had a Kimber Ultra CDP II for a few years and it sees frequent carry. Its been a reliable accurate pistol.
  21. I'll probably miss this one as TFA has a booth at the Bartlett Festival and it's seldom that I have a chance to carry in a park. After you practice at RUSA, top off your magazines and drop by booth 27 in WT Freeman Park.
