  1. Dr. Ruth Wilburn or Dr. Brandy Ellis at Olive Branch Animal Clinic are highly recommended. I'd used several other vets in southeast Shelby County before taking my hounds there. The usually full waiting room is evidence that most of their customers like their work. They also have healthy dogs and cats available for adoption.
  2. If you leave a nice gun displayed in the open, it's probable in the future the only thing left will be a memory.
  3. My wife got her permit about twelve years ago. She has carried a Kahr or XD since that time, but it's main use has been to threaten me, anytime I mention getting another hound dog.

    Henry Rifle

I haven't fired a Henry rifle, but the those that own them say they are good reifles.
  5. Pepper spray and a mag light may be the best options.

    92fs grip help

I'd like to replace the grips on mine with esmeralda grips. This might be a good time to replace the hex screws as well.
  7. The automobile I used to obtain a drivers license is different than the one I now drive. DPS doen't have any record of the automobile or pistol used in obtaining a permit.
  8. Some airports offered foreign currency exchange when I traveled for a former employer. It may not be worth the time and effort to exchange it, after they add fees.
  9. Everytime I've tried to find parts for a repair, the final result is installing a new replacement kit. I prefer to do the job once, instead of several times to get it right.
  10. I'm not a professional installer, but wouldn't the vinyl need to be removed before installing tile to prevent the tiles from cracking? I'd like to put tile in my kitchen, but don't look forward to removing the old vinyl floor.
  11. I'm sure if I go to an automobile dealer, he will tell me I need to trade in my year old vehicle for a new one. If I get a second opinion from another dealer, he will say the same thing. The only time a doctor will tell you that you don't need his services, is when your insurance doesn't pay.
  12. Most gun owners don't fit in one of the at 2 choices lsited in the poll.
  13. I checked WWB - .4520, Golden Sabre - .4521, and my Hornady reloads- .4522 at the case mouth
  14. The victim may be an anti-gun liberal - but I still couldn't turn my head and walk away, unless I recognized the victim was Peloski or Clinton.
  15. Using labor for grass cutting from the penal farm, as they did in the past, should reduce most of the operating costs, as a range officer would be the only paid employee. I forgot to add a dozen well paid appointees from the mayor's office.

    E-readers??

I got my wife a Sony reader in 2009 and its seen extensive use.
  17. The wait will be be over in a short time and you'll be leagal to carry. This is a good time to consider how you will carry, type holster, spare mags, etc. You'll likely have your permit long before some of these questions are answered.
  18. Without making any major changes in diet, this year I've cut my weight by 15 lbs and BP prescription to 25% of the former dose. As the weather has improved, I getting more time outside and expect to see more weight loss.
  19. Will keep Kimber, her unit and all of our brave soldiers in our prayers. Thanks for your service.
  20. Several large dogs looking out the windows when anyone approaches the door, has worked well for the last 15 years.
  21. I've used several boxes of Federal and they worked well as have the WWB, UMC and Remington ammunition.
  22. My first choice in pistols will always be a 1911. I have an XD45 and it has been an excellent pistol, accurate and reliable, but has primarily been used for home protection. I've started looking for a holster for the XD as I'd like to have the extra round capacity.
