  1. Welcome to TGO!
  2. Notice the warning labels?
  3. I'd like to get an EMP, but it'll have to wait till later this year. It'll have to be an addition, not a replacement for any of those I own.
  4. I haven't found reliability to be a problem with any of my pistols other than an AMT. If possible, find a place where you can rent and try several pistols before deciding which is best for your needs.
  5. I won't get into the caliber debate, I have several .40 and .45 pistols. My only 9 is a Beretta M9 and isn't an option for concealed carry. My choices for carry have gradually changed to smaller, lighter pistols. The next pistol I purchase will probably be a 9. The most effective pistol made, is useless it you don't have it when you need it.
  6. Doctors don't have any business asking about my gun ownership. Only the :poop:Commie Appeal:poop: in Memphis has the right to reveal information about gun owners in TN.
  7. Possibly a larger gun!
  8. WWB should function well in most pistols. I've never had a problem using it in 9, 40 or 45.
  9. Welcome to TGO!

    New toy....SR1911

I started looking for one yesterday. I'm sure once I grip one, it will stay in my hands!
  11. Mine also took 3 months. It was mailed the day I called to ask about the delay.
  12. Why would anyone want to quit?
  13. I don't have any experience with moon clips for the 442, but would be interested in information on them.
  14. If Walmart is sells them, they'll be made in :poop:China.
  15. You can count on the governor making an appearance shortly before time for the next election.
  16. That's my first choice everytime. I've managed to stay out of an airport for several years now.
  17. I'd leave the gun in the trunk instead of the glovebox if possible. Guns and Ammo usually has a large selection of pistols and rifles. Hope you have an enjoyable time in Memphis.
  18. I had planned to purchase a ruger LCP, but left the gun shop with a S&W 442. It conceals well in a jeans pocket using a cheap pocket holster.
  19. I've carried a Kimber Ultra CDP II for several years. It's been reliable and accurate.
  20. Congrats on the permits.
  21. Sorry for your loss. My dalmation has slowed down as he's getting on in years. He's having trouble keeping up with my younger hounds.
  22. The most dangerous animal in Tennessee is the the yellow back politician. They are usually found near governemt buildings and will strike without thinking. The scent of money will lure them from their usual hiding spots.
  23. Desoto has two ranges - 200 yard at Dairy Barn and 600 yard at Como.
  24. Welcome!
