  1. I've had several Gerber knives and been pleased with all of them.
  2. Consequences don't mean much if you don't live to face them.
  3. When I carry IWB, I usually carry a G27 or Ultra CDP II. If I carry a full size 1911, OWB is more comfortable.
  4. First Tennessee wasn't posted the last time I entered the bank. However, I usually use their ATM or drive-thru teller.
  5. At that price, there's no reason for anyone to be without an HCP. As the percentage of armed citizens grows, the rate of crimes against them should drop.
  6. Welcome to Tennessee. Most people will not know you are armed, if you properly conceal your gun.
  7. Yes, if you're in a gun fight!
  8. With over 30 years of filling magazines to capacity, none have yet needed the springs replaced.
  9. While my military days gave my an awareness of my surroundings, since getting an hcp I have become more aware of those around me. Most thugs don't carry in the same manner as HCP holders.
  10. The average 2-3 weeks is much better than the 2-3 months wait from a few years ago.
  11. ARRL has a License Manual for $25 which explains the theory and rules along with practice tests. Most areas have ham clubs which will have classes to prepare you for the exams.
  12. I haven't fired a .40 EMP yet, but it will probably be my next purchase.

I got a 442 about a year ago. It's become one of my choices for hot weather carry.
  14. Start working on the Tech and General tests and look for a ham club in your area. Someone will probably know of some reasonable priced equipment. You'll probably need to find a power supply, antenna, antenna tuner and other equipment in addition to a HF transceiver.
  15. I've always used my RCBS press to prime. Never had any problem with it in over 30 years of reloading.
  16. My intent is for the 706 to become a mobile unit.
  17. It's almost as bad as the Commie Appeal in Memphis.
  18. Probably a relative of A Gore.
  19. I wouldn't want to see anyone break the law. Ship it to me and it will be properly disposed of.
  20. I hadn't been on it, earlier this weekend, but it's working now.
  21. I haven't seen any reason to put my business on facebook. Lived a lot of years without it and plan to continue that way.
  22. I found a used Icom 706 on Ebay. As I gain more experience in HF, I'm probably get a better radio.
  23. My wife uses the 'Plan B' Day Planner from Dillon. She prefers it to a concealment purse.
  24. My guns would stay out of CA. I'd do everything possible to do the same.
  25. For many years I was content to have one 1911. Several years ago, after getting a second 1911, I found that there seemed to always be another, usually more expensive, 1911 that I found it necessary to purchase.
