    Congrats on a nice pistol!
  2. If I can get that cleaning kit with it, I'll buy a glock
  3. I learned quickly that both a mobile radio and HT are desirable for VHF communications. KJ4WOU
  4. TN law doesn't provide an option for local departments to exercise their choice. They are in violation of the law, if they don't follow it.
  5. Welcome to Tennessee and TGO.
  6. I hadn't noticed that the SA case has a kydex holster in it. As the size and weight are almost identical to my Ultra CDP II, I'll use the same holster until I have a new one made.
  7. If it is a 1911, it should be immediately shipped to me. Be sure to send all ammo and accessories not purchased in TN.

    i need a 1911

It is often necessary to buy a new 1911 every few months until the correct model is found. I may need another safe if I don't find the correct pistol soon.
  9. Does the Memphis model provide a color choice for the head cover?
  10. Repeat, as necessary.

  12. Hopefully he'll have an enjoyable weekend outdoors and catch a few fish as well. A weekend enjoying nature offers much more than anything a city has to offer.

    i need a 1911

When I want to purchase another 1911, I tell my wife I'm thinking about getting another coonhound puppy. After she objects that I don't need another dog, I tell her I'll get another gun.
  14. A larger number of resonable priced memberships will add up to more than a few high priced memberships. I pay $120 a year with a hour drive to the range.
  15. Give a boy a fish, he'll eat today. Teach a boy to fish, he'll tell lies the rest of his life.
  16. I've had my XD-45 for several years and have been pleased with it. It was my first of several polymer pistols and performed well enough to convince me to purchase several more, though I've always prefered the 1911. It's been accurate and dependable and I don't worry about wear from daily use and holster carry.
  17. My EMP 40 is less than a month old and during the first 400 rounds has been an excellent pistol using FMJ ammo. I haven't used any HP yet. After the first trip to the range, the grips bacame loose and needed to be tightened. I expect to fire another few hundred rounds this week before using it as a carry weapon.
  18. Gun Tests has an article comparing the Judge and Governor in their lastest edition.
  19. I recently applied for a non-residnt permit in another state as I would like to have the option to carry in Washington. While I don't expect to see it happen, there should be natiowide recipocity of a state's carry permit.
  20. I try to find shirts with a pattern which will help breakup the outline of a concealed weapon.
  21. Immelt, like Welch, learned very well to take care of #1, at the expense of the employees and stock holders they step on.
  22. I keep hearing that 'tobacco kills'. Guess they're right.
  23. I haven't shot a Charles Daly yet, let us know how it does at the range.
  24. I print and keep a copy in my vehicle of the firearms laws of the states I travel in. A mistake could be very costly.
