  1. My safe is one component of protecting my guns. My dogs and an alarm are just as important.
  2. Kroil has worked very well, the times I've used it
  3. There are better safes available, but a Centurion is doing the task I needed.
  4. I try to exercise each of my pistols on a regular schedule. I don't want any of them to be neglected.
  5. My 442 has a similar appearance. It doesn't seem to affect it's operation but I haven't fired but a few hundred rounds in it.
  6. I don't ask and I don't tell. I'm sure less than 99% notice that I am armed while attending church.
  7. On several job sites, I've had a random search from a security guard as I entered employee parking lots. None involved more than opening the trunk or looking in a computer bag.
  8. Congrats on a nice looking pistol!
  9. Glad to hear that S&W gave you excellent customer service on the pistol. Let us know how it shoots after the next trip to the range.

    Kimber

I also prefer the frame of my pistols be SS. I chose a .40 EMP over a 9mm for that reason. I've had a Kimber Ultra CDP II for several years and it's been accurate and dependable. As others have said, I've used Wilson magazines in it.

    Revolver to Auto

The collective IQ of a "flash mob" may not be high, but understands that the muzzle flash of a revolver may be harmful to them.
  12. The FCC permit used for flying and airport use doesn't permit legal operation on the Amateur Radio bands.
  13. My mini 14 6.8spc Ruger has been accurate and dependable. My only complaint was finding 10 and 20 round magazines. However, for shooting at a long range, I prefer an AR or M1A.

    Revolver to Auto

Revolvers, polymer pistols and 1911s each have a set of advantages and disadvantages. I prefer to have a few of each.
  15. Thanks for accomplishing what our state should have been doing for us!
  16. The bright side of Memphis is, you never need to explain why you need another gun.
  17. "Gun Tests" did a review on this pistol in August.

    .357 Sig ?

The .357 Sig is an interesting round, but I cann't see that it will replace the .40 for several reasons. I also like my 6.8 spc but realize it will never become a popular round.
  19. I had a neighbor who frequently backed into my mailbox, until I filled the post with quickcrete. The dent in his car reminded him to stop backing into it.
  20. I use "GunSafe28" to record model, serial number, purchase date and price, dealer information, photos and other information.
  21. :poop:Agore:poop: lost the election by improperly claiming TN as his home state instead of Washington DC.
  22. I plan to always have an adequate supply of .45 available.
  23. A carry permit is similar to an insurance policy. You obtain each because you may need them.
  24. My condolences. Our pets become a special part of our families.
  25. It shouldn't take long to upgrade to General and the additional bands offer long distance communications.
