Even in cities with high crime rates, much of it is concentrated in a few areas of the city. In over 50 years of living in or near Memphis, the only crimes I've experienced were having vehicles broken into four times.

Wheels and tires are cheap compared to the cost of a trip to the Med. If I have A flat in some areas, I'll keep driving untill I get to a safer area.

Before I pay that much for a pocket pistol, I'd have to see it prove itself.

I've gone to pawn shops a few times to look for used guns. I didn't usually find anything I wanted and the prices were high enough I didn't attempt to haggle.

Several years ago I ordered a belt from Tucker Gunleather and it's held up better than several cheaper belts combined.

I haven't shot the Solo yet. My Kimber Ultra CDP II has been a dependable pistol for the few years I've had it. I recently bought an EMP 40 and it's been a great pistol. It's worked well with any ammo I've put in it. While the 40 is heavier than the 9mm, the EMP is comfortable to carry and shoot. None of my pistols from Springfield has needed it, but SA has excellent customer service.

I haven't used any steel case ammo as I save my brass for reloading. Most of the ammo I've bought was WWB or UMC.
