  1. I waited three months before I called. After I called, the permit arrived the same week. If the permit doesn't arrive in three weeks, I'd call to inquire.
  2. Ruger, Remington, Springfield or Rock Island would be good choices for a entry level 1911.
  3. New York?
  4. I was too young to vote in the elections which resulted in my military service. But I haven't missed an election since the time I returned from SE Asia.
  5. After reading the list of restaurants listed in Ray Friedman's failed effort at a website, I found several listed that are not posted. As he is a professor at Vanderbilt, I would have expected more accuracy in his work.
  6. I did the same and received several replies from Senators saying they support the bill.
  7. The reason I have a glock 27 is it's small size and ease to conceal.
  8. The girl behind the counter at starbucks today noticed the NRA cap I was wearing and told me her husband had recently been stopped as he accidentally walked in a bank with his pistol in view. I replied he should switch to First Tennessee which didn't have an antigun policy as I gave her a 2 dollar bill.
  9. The NGVAC said "the boycott would end Starbucks rejects the NRA's Pro-Gun agenda...". I usually don't advertise for the NRA, but will wear an NRA hat when I stop at a Starbucks today.

    1911

My wife used a Colt 1911 to qualify for her carry permit, but decided she prefers to carry a K40 or XD40sc.

    Glock vs 1911!

The best gun would be the one with the remaining ammo.
  12. I hope I made the liberals as uncomfortable as I was, at Starbucks today. After making a purchase, I finally found a table to sit and read my copy of The Constitution of the United States. Starbucks profits would be higher, if the freeloading ########s weren't there using Starbucks electricity to charge their computers, phones and every other electrical item they own. I didn't observe anyone other than myself actually spend money there.
  13. As I drive to the range in a few minutes, I'll be stopping a Starbucks. probably stop at a different one one the return trip from the range.
  14. After using an RCBS for many years I purchased a Dillion 550 and it has performed well.
  15. The prices I've seen at gun shows were usually at or above the prices I can get locally on guns as well as reloading supplies.
  16. After waiting from November to February for a refrigerator I purchased from Lowes, they're unlikely to see me make any large purchases from them in the future.
  17. I may be immune to the glock fever. I bought one a few years ago, but didn't sell any of my 1911s, to buy more glocks.
  18. During 30 years of reloading, always kept my primers and powder in a closet or the garage.
  19. Welcome and thanks for your service.
  20. That's true of every politician during the last few elections.
  21. The Horseshoe Leather holster I bought for my Kimber Ultra CDP II fits my EMP very well.
  22. Those who are carrying illegally are likely to ignore the signs, if they are able to read them.
  23. I use Sportsmans Warehouse for most reloading supplies. In the past I used gun shows but their prices have gotten too high.
