  1. During the last election some calibers of ammunition, as well as reloading supplies, became difficult or impossible to obtain. Should a large scale emergency happen, the only supplies you can depend upon, are the supplies you possess. Food and water will likely become the most important needs.
  2. Try to shoot several of these guns at a range if possible. The trigger on my 442 is very different than that of my K40 or G27 and I shoot a pistol much better than a revolver. While most encounters will be over before reloading is necessary, a pistol is faster to reload than a revolver. During the summer months I often find it easier to carry a lightweight revolver in a pocket holster than carry a larger pistol IWB.
  3. When the dust settles on the Republican convention, I'll have to vote for whoever is left standing, to run against obummer.
  4. As part of the group that was old enough to fight but too young to vote, I haven't missed an election since I was legal to register. I consider it a duty to vote, as well as a right.
  5. "Sometimes it is said that man cannot be trusted with the government of himself. Can he. then, be trusted with the government of others? Thomas Jefferson
  6. A S&W 442 in a pocket holster will disappear in a pair of jeans. I often carry it at times a G27 or EMP would be more difficult to carry.
  7. One or more reloading manuals is the best place to start. After reading them, you'll get an idea what equipment and supplies you need.
  8. Many liberals have chameleon characteristics which are subject to change when it's to their benefit.
  9. My dogs usually begin howling before the object of their interest is trespassing.
  10. I usually check the other states laws before traveling, as changes may have been made since previous trips.
  11. The only FTEs in any of my pistols have happened while using reloads I've purchased. Factory and personnal reloads have been reliable. Since I stopped purchasing reloaded ammo I've had no failures.
  12. As the HCP and Drivers License have the same number, he is going to ask. I'm not willing to assume the risk.
  13. When I took the class, the instructor recommended we use Oakland rather than Memphis. He also gave a warning about traffic enforcement in Oakland.
  14. The staff usually has different parking lots than those used by the victims.
  15. If the use of the stars and stripes is appropiate for politicians to use during their campaign events, it is appropiate for the citizens to use as long as it is not used in a disrespectful manner.
  16. I would choose the TRP. Springfield has an excellent warranty and customer service.
  17. With this group of candidates, obamma can take another vacation to prepare for the election.
  18. The TRP is as good a pistol as I'll ever need. The question of if the PRO is $1000 better, was difficult to answer, before having it in my hands. The TRP gets much more carry time.
  19. Congrats on a very nice pistol. Mine took 15 months to receive but was worth the wait.
  20. I've made a few purchases from them. Haven't had any problems and they ship quickly.
  21. He should try again - between the eyes.
  22. Ocassional cleaning and lubrication is the only maintenance I've done.
