  1. The only answer for anyone at my back door (fenced yard) will not be good, day or night. I can think of NO reason to answer my front door at 10:30 pm for an uninvited stranger.
  2. Find an amateur radio club near you and they will be glad to introduce you to HF and VHF communications.
  3. From the information on TN.gov , this looks like an interesting area to visit during the fall.
  4. Popcorn and beer were major parts of my diet for awhile after I got divorced.
  5. I'm sure a DA would try to use anything he can to persuade a jury to gain a guilty verdict after a shooting. I keep the business card of an attorney behind my HCP. I also have auto insurance, but that doesn't indicate that I plan to have an auto accident. Most of us will never have to fire a weapon in self defense, but we prepare for the moment it could happen.
  6. The EMP would be a good option. While I've read that some owners have initially had problems with the EMP, SA will solve the problem. My EMP 40 is heavier than the 9 but has been accurate and dependable using any ammo I've put in it.
  7. I'm a NASDS certified Master diver but haven't had a chance to go diving during the last few years. The Florida Keys are some of the best diving I've experienced. If you get a chance, Black Beard Cruises are great!
  8. There may be more posts here than votes that will be cast on election day.
  9. My mini-14 doesn't get as much range time since I purchased a Springfield Armory M1, but I can't see that I''ll sell it.
  10. Truckers may be the most frequent users of CB now. Recently I've seen several truckers taking tests to get licenses for ham radio. A Technician license usually only takes a few hours of class and practice exams. There are many amateur radio clubs that offer the classes to prepare for the exams. AK4SZ
  11. I like my mini-14 but the mags are hard to find in 6.8 spc. The AR offers many more options as parts are easy to locate.
  12. I occassionally visit Starbucks for two reasons, to show support of their gun policy and to make the libs feel uncomfortable.
  13. The Commie Appeal isn't interested in keeping it's reporting accurate, it just needs to make a headline. I wasn't in the their database for awhile, but they occassionly update it. Usually when they need something to justify their pay on a slow news day.
  14. The result is many HCP holders dropped their subscription to the Commie Appeal. If this is the only "news" they can find to report, I'll spend my money on another news source.
  15. I've got too much of one and not enough of the other!
  16. Think I'll visit a Chic-fill-a today, the libs will all be at Starbucks.
  17. Unless a student shows a disregard for the rules on using a cell phone in class, they should be allowed to have them in their possession. I can remember when most students had knives in school, but they didn't cause any accidents or misuse.
  18. Voted the same, but I'd rather see the judges behind bars.
  19. The current group of politicians in Nashville aren't influenced by public opinion. If you don't have corporate funds to buy their votes, you would be wasting time and money going to the Capitol.
  20. When gay soldiers recently violated DODI 1334.01, by participating in a gay parade while in uniform, liberals and the media considered it a Ist Ammendment right. Yet, they are offended when a business chooses not to donate to a national gay group. Why should this insignifiant group of liberals think they should dictate to a corporation, how it chooses to donate it's money?
  21. Have you watched any of the programming shown in TV lately?
  22. I enjoyed a liberal free breakfast there this morning. I can give the libs a list of other places to boycott as well. They won't be exposed to seeing a weapon, and I won't be exposed to their stench.
  23. If ya can't beat them, join them! Sounds like a good way to run a government.
  24. Nashville is starting to sound alot like Port au Prince North-Memphis.
