Virginia will accept firearms training from an NRA course, an out of state training course, current military service or an honorable discharge from the military for a Non-resident permit. A copy of your certificate from your TN permit meets the requirement for a Virginia permit.

While I've never had to use their Customer Service, I found their Custom Shop was excellent, during my year wait for a PC9111.

Over a lot of years with handguns, my preference changed from revolvers to 1911. I have several other pistols but most often choose a 1911 to carry or shoot at the range. I always keep my mags loaded. I rotate them every few months for range use. I haven't had to replace any of my mags yet in several years of use.
