  1. Like illegal Mexicans?
  2. Cruz's wife is a Goldman Sachs VP and was on the CFR and has ties to the very people who've put this country where it is. Carson has made pro gun control comments in the past and can't be trusted to defend the 2nd Amendment.
  3. I just read that Cruz's wife is on the Council of Foriegn Relations and works for Goldman Sachs. I haven't had time to research this. If this is true, she's in tight with the banksters and one worlders that have brought this country to where it is, and so is Cruz. Don't believe what he says when he claims conservative views. I doubt he's any better than Lamar or Corker. Not worth my time.
  4. If I remember correctly, about 35 years ago, ALL handgun sales had to go thru the sheriff (but this wasn't enforced. I have a book from the '30s that says handgun sales in TN at that time were illegal all together). The sheriff had 14 days to approve or disapprove (only with cause). Some would sign it right away. Some, like Sheriff Mike Kirk in Franklin County, would make you wait almost the full time (been there). If it wasn't disapproved in that time it was automatically approved after the 14 days. The sheriff could, and sometimes did, keep a record of the sale with the serial number of the gun. Thankfully those days are gone.
  5. I'll support closing the "loop hole" if it also requires a background check, photo ID, proof of citizenship with a birth certificate or naturalization papers, and a $10 fee to vote.
  6. Not trying to start a fuss, just curious, but what is the advantage of buying from you as opposed to buying direct from Dillon?
  7. I was certified an NRA rifle, pistol, shotgun safety instructor in the past but havent't kept up with the payments to stay current. I still have my certificate and card tho. Can I get my carry permit with this or do I still have to take the state course?
  8. Winchester Ranger Ammo : Ammunition To Go
  9. I do live in Davis' district and have been fairly happy with him, 'til now. He seems to have his nose firmly planted in Pelosi's rear and that impacts my rights and wallet. I'd vote for Pee Wee Herman before I'd vote for Davis again. I'm not backing the other guy but once agian it looks like I'll have to hold my nose and vote against the incumbant, not for the challenger. I'm getting tired of this and wish decent candidates could be found, not the refuse both parties keep dragging up.
  10. This is the latest from the original blog (Naming names: 2nd update on the gun confiscation incident in TN « Restore The Constitution) ... the seized weapons have finally been returned, about 5 months after they were taken. Plus, the victim had to pay every single cost in getting them back, attorney fees, court costs, and even shipping. Now all charges have been dropped, so the bad guys are basically acknowledging that they had no real legal reason to take the weapons in the first place. But still they make the victim jump through all these hoops and pay about $1000 total just to get the guns back. And, of course, the officer who took the guns without reason, is still on the force patrolling the highways, writing tickets, doing his thing. The guns taken are just about equal in value to the costs the victim had to pay in getting them back, so the calculation in the minds of all involved in the confiscation is that most people will not go through all the hassle to get their guns back and that the TN highway patrol can, in most instances, just take guns and property with no recourse.
  11. THP stops out of state couple and siezes their firearms. These guys obviously don't know or don't care what the law is in Tennessee. Naming names: 2nd update on the gun confiscation incident in TN « Restore The Constitution
  12. Haslem's a loser. I'm going to write in Fred Thompson.
  13. I have a Masonic Handbook that was published in 1855 that belonged to my great-great grandfather. It has his name and lodge number (NY) and the date (1856) written in the front. It covers the Blue Lodge degrees and York Rite (Knight Templar) degrees.
  14. Handgun: .22 LR, .22 Mag, .32 S&W, .32 S&W Long, .380, .38LC, .38 S&W, .38 Special, .357 Mag, 9MM, .38-40, .41 Mag, .44 Special, .44-40, .44 Mag, .45 ACP, .45 AutoRimmed, .45LC Long gun: .22 LR, 5.56, .243, 7MM, .30 Carbine, 7.63x39, .30-30, 7.62x54R, 7.62 NATO, .30-06, .303 Brit, 8MM, .38-40, .44-40, .45-70
  15. In an old High School animal husbandry text book (1961) it states that copper sulfate at 1 part in 500,000 parts water will destroy most forms of algae and the water will still be fit for animal consuption. The copper sulfate is put in a cloth bag and stirred thru the water untill disolved. It can be lethal to any fish in the pond tho. You're on your own finding copper sulfate. I don't know if the CO-OP sells it or not.
