1. More important than the electronic lock what is the fire rating on the Cannon safe? If not at least 60 mins you might want to reconsider. Gander Mountain has a big selection of safes at most locations. They only sell top quality safes (don't think I saw any Cannon's there). No I don't work from Gander Mt but I did buy my safe there. At first I was shopping for price until I looked into how safe's are built and where they are built. I paid more for one made in the USA. Elec locks are great... the only way to go.
2. I agree with Lumber Jack... it is hard to beat WM on the price of ammo and I have never had any issues with it. Companies like Sig Colt S&W are not going to sell sub par guns at WM. It is their name on the line not WM name. I like to support my local gun shops and it the price is close that is where I shop.
3.
What a screwy poll. One might logically agree with 1 and 2, or 2 and 3. - OS
You are right about that.... never did a poll before.
4. Do you think that the re-election of Obama is good for gun owners and the country in general? If so please share your thoughts.
5. How do you like shooting the DAO? I like my P239 it feels good and shoots great.
6. I love my Sig P239. I would buy that in a heartbeat. Here is a deal I came across... SIG P290 with laser in good condition for $500. Thoughts?
7. Fall Creak is a private campground if it is the one off of Fall Creek Rd in Hamblen Co. Not a problem there.

I am not sure why you would need to tear down a revolver? Certainly not for cleaning. If something breaks either the factory or a qualified gunsmith should be able to take care of it.

Thanks for the input... I am looking for the 2" to use as CCW. Right now I am caring a LC9 which I like but I really like revolvers because they are simple and always go bang. The price is really high and I was surprised. More than a Kimber Solo. That in mind it sounds like there are some definite pluses. Let me know if you find any in the Knoxville area or Tri-Cities area.
10. I love my LC9 and hate the trigger! Every time I try to do something it ends up be a nightmare for me. Still tempted.

Does anyone have a Rhino or has anyone shot one? It sure has all the makings of a good CCW and more punch than a 9mm. Curious about your thoughts.
12. Anyone have a S&W 8 shot revolver? I think it is in either .357 or .45 They have them at Buds and Cheaper then Dirt.
13. I can usnderstand the office's concern for his safty while writing out the ticket and the guy in front has a bunch of guns in his car. One would think that he would have said something to the effect so the person knew why.
14. I have a 22/45 and really like it. That said you might want to look at both the Browning 22 and the Kel=Tec 22 which holds 30 rounds in the clip which is really nice!
15. Thank you so much for posting that experience! I hope that the gal from TN gets a break and now the ex-marine is in the same situation. At least Fox News is going public about this type of actions against law abiding citizens!
16. Yes it sure would. Most people do not recall but the housing crash occurred after the high $5 gas prices!
17. Never hear of her... no idea what her policies or beliefs are. If you want people to vote for her you need to tell them why and what she stands for. Your post sounds like you just don't like Corker.
18. I have an M&P 40 and it is a nice firearm. Handles very well and ammo is reasonable. A bit large for carry except in the winter when you have on coats and sweaters. My main carry is an LC9.
19. Morristown has everything you need and you are only an hour to Knoxville or the Smokie Mountains. There are some good deals on housing including some homes on or close to Cherokee Lake. Schools are the best of all the other counties around. I think you will get a lot better bang for your buck in this area. Welcome if you decide to move here.
20. Just another reason to buy used guns!
21. Wish you could hear what he was saying. Sure can hear the host but not the guest!
22. At the gun show last week I picked up some small but strong magnets mounted on a strip of wood with shrink wrap holding it all together. Easy to make and you can find how to on youtube but at the price of 3 for $25 I just bought them. I will mount one in the car and the others at home.
23. Very nice but pretty pricy.
24. What would you do if someone voted in your name because they did not have to prove who they were? Vote those official who support no ID required out of office!~
