  1. Not a great big deal to me. I would like to see it. But, I am well covered with a permit. And, adding car carry without a permit was real helpful to the masses. I'm certainly not worried about "blood flowing in the streets". Since the legislators feel that they have it covered already, I can see why they wouldn't want to risk any backlash.
  2. One of the best things I ever bought. I have a bunch of rifles with optics, so I was an easy justification for me
  3. Yep. I've shot a scope plumb off a semi-auto before. Now I loctite everything, and torque it all with a Fat Wrench
  4. Those look fine. You DID use blue Loctite on all the screw threads, right?
  5. Yep. As I watch Facebook and TV, I find my self saying "good place for a hand grenade" a whole lot.
  6. Better get one of these...
  7. Recoil pad for my .458 SOCOM AR. Time for some more tub thumpin'... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AU6EPQO/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  8. Damn! Now THAT's a .22. Need some of my Minimags?
  9. CCI Minimags. Been a long while.
  10. I would get it as close as I could with ring height. I'm betting, as low as you can get it will work best .
  11. Speaking of stocks... with that 24x scope, you will find that an adjustable cheek piece is real helpful in getting head lined up. a 24x scope is finicky. It will wink at 24x.
  12. Looking at the Magpul stock got me back interested in the 700. I have a long action sporter that I'm inclined to build into a long range shooter.
  13. Look at the Magpul stock for the 700. That's how I would go right now. I think you're gonna like the Vortex. I have one of their PST FFP scopes in the same power range
  14. Got lots of respect for that woman. Good on you.
  15. You can kill a bull with a Ka-bar. You just might get a little skinned up in the process
  16. Yep. Bull in the ass at 35 yards. Best I can do :-)
  17. You gotta fit the powder charge behind the projectile somehow. If you get crazy with it (case too small), you may have to design a gun from the ground up to handle the pressure. I wonder how this one compares to a 40 S&W necked down to 7.5 mm. Or, a 10mm. You could wildcat that if you didn't exceed 10mm chamber pressure, and get er done with a barrel. I'm betting the pressure on this one is much higher than a 10mm
  18. Nothing new under the sun, ya know. I hear you. After reading, there is no parent case, mainly because of the pressure. Hope they find a good market for something so expensive.
  19. I got a gazillion 223 empties, already tumbled. 15 or so lbs of powder too
  20. A few? You're like me. You make liberals piss themselves at the thought of your "arsenal".
  21. The US was founded on civil disobedience. Why would anybody believe that round two may be on the way? Hillary is just a harmless politician, right? I don't think it will turn to shooting it out with the government. But, the constitution DOES recognize our right to own guns for that very purpose. And don't believe for a second that they don't know it.
  22. Civil disobedience is a real broad term. I'm not foolish. Becoming as useless as some Hillary supporters is civil disobedience in my book.
  23. That depends on how you are gonna use the gun. Can't beat battle field zero if you're hunting goat humpers. If you are going to limit your range to 100-150 yards (critters in the woods), a battle field zero will shoot high at 100. No need to sacrifice that accuracy if you don't need the 300 meter range.
