  1. .17 HMR is pretty cool. And that's a nice looking rifle. It should play real well at the LBL range if it's not real windy
  2. Yep. Nothing left but some hair
  3. Ever shot a rabbit with a 223? You gonna lick it off a tree when you're done? I stockpile 5.56, but do try to keep some 22 around, mainly cause I have 5 guns chambered in it.
  4. I have had plenty of bison in Colorado and Nebraska. I've also had it in Nashville. Ted's Montana Grill has a big Bison menu. Elk is still available, but maybe not where I had it. I had a steak in a pretty good restaurant. It was good. Google it. Caney Fork is one, I think.
  5. I have it piled pretty deep (for me) too. I don't shoot a lot of 22
  6. I've had elk in a Nashville restaurant. Don't know that deer is any stranger than that
  7. You done good
  8. Tobacco is a tough one. Congrats. I quit it, but it took over 40 years.
  9. I would have called bull####. There is cheap ammo everywhere right now.
  10. I think you missed the tongue in cheek. They were $30 after Sandy Hook, when our rights were really in danger. Hillary is a huge threat. I don't think she will be all it takes. But, pile on a real juicy mass killing, and we could see it again. But, it's not time yet
  11. I got a bazillion PMAGS. Besides, STUPID LAWS GET IGNORED (My new motto). I will find mags, even if they ban them.
  12. Prices ain't going up yet, and LOTS in stock... https://www.wideners.com/rifle/223-5.56-ammo
  13. Is there an echo in here?
  14. Welcome to one of the best gun forums on the planet. Lots of deplorables in these parts.
  15. You can get TWO Hinderers for that!!!
  16. I'm stealing this pic, Mikey
  17. Some case gauges are cut with chamber dimensions. My .458 SOCOM gauge was cut with a chamber reamer. Probability is that it's a good idea to put a sizing ring in your crimp die. I have seen more problems from bullets seating a little crooked, especially stubby 45 bullets. I still get 100% in all my pistols, even from the ones that are a little sticky in the gauge. Haven't had any that outright fail the gauge.
  18. I will wind up selling some knives to get a few more
  19. They're cheaper than a Glock, and they's made out of plastic!
  20. Just like squeezing a chicken, except they have a big head and no neck
  21. That's what you get when you squeeze a real owl.
  22. Willis lives in the country. He squeezes his own owls
  23. Now you got it. Willis greases his pivots with genuine owl poop.
  24. Nope. He identified the problem and eliminated it.
