That ain't gonna happen. Looks like they are expanding, with S&W remaining as a subsidiary. Envision the Freedom Group, and Remington and Marlin. I'm guessing they will go broader than the Freedom group.

They're not changing the brand. Guns will still have the S&W Stamp. Just changing the name of the holding company. didn't read deep enough to find out why, but would assume that it has its up side. Changing the brand would be stupid.

Well, 8.5 oz is gonna require more than 3 tungsten slugs, so it may actually require something special. Happy blowback

I'm pretty fond of mine. I'm just glad somebody finally came out with a real recoil pad for Magpul stocks. I load my 458 in the hot side, and the gun really needs it.

It's a BCM stock, grip, and handguard. Good stuff. This is most likely going to be a very good rifle if t's priced right.
