  1. Yep. They're the cream of the crop. It's exactly what happens when you give a fast food worker $15/hr.
  2. Not even a challenge for your $8000 pop gun
  3. Put that thing out before you burn a hole in your shirt
  4. Well, unless it's a name brand factory rifle, an AR-15 is a collection of parts. And, a good trigger like a Geiselle holds it's value pretty well, even if you gotta sell it by itself. I agree, sticker shock is a big problem when you use good parts in home brewed rifles.
  5. I'm one of those snobs. I have 5 Geissele triggers. I won't say that I need them on my carbines, but I shoot better with them. 3 of my AR's have milspec triggers, and they suck. I DO believe the high speed mtch triggers are needed on the precision rifles. It's much easier to hold a gun under 1/2 MOA when you don't have to drag an 8 pound trigger over a pile of gravel
  6. Couldn't be. They LOVE PETA in Texas.
  7. I figure it's legal somewhere
  8. Not a tennessee video. I reckon it will piss PETA off. That was the goal
  9. It's been so long since I cleaned a squirrel, I forgot how I used to do it. I remember it went a whole lot easier after I did a few.
  10. Well, Ringling Brothers say the biggest problem was pressure from the animal rights groups like Peta. They retired all their elephants, their biggest draw, due to that pressure. So, here's to Peta ...

  12. MOA is MOA. And, the wind is not going to be the same among contestants. The hard part is shooting 1 MOA with a 22. I'm sure Hozzie's guns will do it easily.
  13. Minimag, 5mph crosswind (3 0'clock). 100 yards isn't that far when it comes to wind, especially if it's constant.
  14. Hard to argue with this, even if it does give the anti's a shot at setting us back.
  15. I have the Hinderer stainless Investigator, which is almost too small. It will still easily put a hole in someone's skull. If I had it to do over, I would probably go for the Extreme Duty
  16. My old buddy "Stumpy" loves them.
  17. I use the Lancers for .458 SOCOM. I just use regular PMAGS with some of Dolomites's rubber bands for blackout. All my Blackout loads fit fine in PMAGS. I'm just wondering if these would be a good solution for .458
  18. Truth. Probably an expensive way too.
  19. It's not near as small as the AR-7, but it is a real rifle when it's together. I like (and own) the AR-7. It's a funky little thing.
  20. Sure... one negligent discharge while I was cow tippin', and you call me immature. Strict!
  21. This is me.
  22. Tell you what... you will appreciate the checkered grip on the Uberti. SAA's have funky ergos anyway.
  23. I love mine. I don't shoot it much.
  24. Eight to eight and a half grains of Unique and anybodies hard cast bullet 250 grains and over will shoot just fine... These guys are a bit more expensive, but their bullets are great... They are good and soft, so they will upset in the barrel... Very accurate shooters ... http://rimrockbullets.net/index.php If ya really want ta have some "authentic" loads... Load these bullets with black powder, but read up on the loading procedures first... We used the rimrock bullets with the black powder loads... They are great... Big "kaboom" and plenty of billowing white smoke... Real old time stuff here... leroy Black powder is fun. But cleaning is a lot tougher.
