Looks like a plain ole milspec retainer. Couldn't see it on my phone for some reason.

So, the Ruger FSB is pinned like an A2? A2 blocks are HARD to get off. I have ruined some tools with them. Can't imagine one falling off if they used taper pins, unless they just forgot to drill and pin the gun

How did their heavy equipment get where it is now? They can move. They don't even have a long gun line. I doubt they make any of the parts for their AR's. Companies with highly skilled people move all the time. When it comes down to it, the company owns the expertise.

It was a no brainer. Obama stoked the anti-gun panic hard for eight years. Everybody that ever wanted a gun wound up with at least four. It's saturated.

Yeah. My 19 got stolen. I was a 1 gun guy in those days. Replaced it with a Model 59 and never looked back.

Cool. There are very few I would like to own again. My favorite was always the 36. I have one of those. I would like to have a 15 and 19 as well. That's probably about it. I never carry them anymore
