Gotta ask Dolomite about that one. He's the cheap blackout king. I always pay too much I have a bunch of blackout loaded with 125 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips. They're 40 cents. They DO go where you point em real good.

Yep. With all its good attributes, it's tough to justify the AK just on Ballistics. A 300 blackout can be loaded to about the same. Ammo cost isn't bad either if you load with converted 223 brass. There's an AK in my future too BTW. I just can't say when.

I have never been against them, but have always just hung with the AR platform. I have a good pile of those. Looks like a good choice. Being an AR guy, I would grab one with a fold-over stock too.

Yep. BCM makes my favorite Keymod handguard. I have bought 3 of them so far. You can't go wrong with anything they make, including complete rifles.

Joking. Geissele makes good scope mounts. Larue makes THE BEST scope mounts. Larue makes good triggers. Geissele makes THE BEST triggers. I agree on the SSA. Perfect for self defense. I have them on my two holo sight carbines. The SSA-E is on a scoped rifle. The two match triggers are on precision rifles.

I am a huge Larue fan. That's why, when it really counts, I would never use a Geissele scope mount.

I have a couple of SSA's and an SSA-E. Both are great. The SSA-E is better if you're are going for real accurate shots. I also own a couple of their national match triggers. It's easy to find someone that believes Geissele triggers are the best AR triggers on the planet. I'm one of those folks.
