  1. G= generous. I don't use grease anywhere on an AR, except for a little dab on the sear. I never lube the buffer spring either
  2. You guys make some good points, as usual. I reckon I need to go get me a Slidefire before they're gone.
  3. I just said why. Because it really did help that guy kill a lot more people. And, it really has no other practical function. Every time this debate comes up, the grabbers ask "why do you need an assault weapon?". I have pretty good justifications. Can't answer about bump stocks with a straight face. Maybe I am being a little bit like the grabbers. I personally have no use for one. When it comes down to it, I figure the ATF will kill them before Ryan and his singing RINOs has a chance.
  4. But, I want my plastic bump stock because it is so useful. I can't live without it. I'm gonna quit the NRA. Geez
  5. I don't know ####
  6. Bump stocks, which have proven to have one, and only one practical use may get regulated. I was surprised when the ATF let them hit the market in the first place. That ain't the end of the second amendment. Can we get ahold of ourselves here? That is ALL that is gonna come from this.
  7. Just watched Wayne on Hannity
  8. It was a game changer in one way. I think they are gone. How much ammo do we need to burn trying to hang onto something that I would never buy in the first place. The NRA didn't come out with their statement because they want to give something up. They have their ears to the rail.
  9. That doesn't compute for libs. You mention murder is illegal, and they look at you like you have two heads.
  10. I hate Paul Ryan. They need to let the ATF handle this.
  11. Hickok45's Facebook post. Copied here without permission... Well, I suppose I'll pick up a few extra "haters" about this, as well as people who think I'm supporting the NRA ONLY because they support us.Even though John has not totally agreed with me this week, I've been making the comment all week how crazy it is that something most serious shooters couldn't care less about is such a point of focus, being used to demonize all gun owners. I'm assuming the NRA gave this issue very serious consideration, and like me, decided that these bump stocks, which did not even exist ten years ago, are not something worth "falling on our swords" over. There are WAY more important battles down the road. Many of you will not agree with me, but all of us need to make sure we continue contacting our representatives and gun rights organizations. Make your voice heard and let them know where you stand on all these issues. They all work for us. weekhttps://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/las-vegas-shooting/nra-backs-additional-regulations-rapid-fire-gun-bump-stocks-n808121
  12. RIGHT. Leave the legislators out of it. The NRA is not screwing us here. They are screwing that greasy ass Schumer and his merry band of idiots.
  13. Or the ATF classifies a bump fire stock as a machine gun with a letter, and diffuses the whole damn gun control push.
  14. Right. It is an effective mass killing tool, where accuracy doesn't matter. Or a pretty ####ty toy that I would never buy, even at a discount.
  15. After the Vegas shooter found the ONLY practical use for them. I viewed them as a toy until now. That guy turned it into a useful tool. By all means, get behind that tool.
  16. My little brother finally sighted in his 6.5 Creedmoor. Two groups at 100 yards: 3/8" and 1/2" using Hornady factory ammo
  17. I'm glad somebody finlly got to the truth
  18. I would have lost some friends in that one. The show was actually in the arena, but the day event was there.
  19. Not sure I'm ready to believe that he was just going for better numbers than the last sicko. Now, if he was looking to kill lots of white folks or conservatives, his best bet was that show. We had an event at that venue the weekend before, but it was a much broader audience
  20. Ya know, this gun does solve one of the problems with using a shotgun for home defense. If you could tame the recoil, it could be a fine solution. I have one of these...
  21. Mandalay Bay isn't that old. It was built after the Luxor.
  22. Damn Linky. You are a real ball of sunshine these days. Why block you? It's fun to watch you hang out with the deplorables . If they'll let you back on Arfcom, you have have even more fun . Lot's of racists over there too. You know I'm just funnin' you, right?
  23. That may have reduced the general feeling of superiority... nah
  24. Or, maybe nobody will sue
  25. Yeah, You're right. His head is still shaped like a head.
