  2. Those are good for putting them in too, once you get them started. I have used mine a lot. I also have small set of starter punches. Between the two, roll pins are a breeze.
  3. I have that vise and a Tipton. I like the Lyman vise better for most things. I have ruined several punches on taper pins, and wound up using a nail set as well.
  4. I may have to get one. I love the 110. I have had one for 20 years or so.
  5. There is another issue that may not matter to us. The NRA is constantly under attack. Steering this thing away from congress, and into a black hole can be interpreted, by folks with less knowledge, as an show of "common sense". If I lived in a swamp, I may use tactics like that.
  6. Maybe all these politicians should listen to somebody with a brain... https://www.reviewjournal.com/business/casinos-gaming/wynn-talks-las-vegas-shooting-hotel-security-on-tv-interview/
  7. Hold on there sparkles. There's always some dumbass throwing up a gun control bill. And, there's always some Repub that will vote for it. Doesn't mean it's gonna be law. These slimy bastards ain't gonna vote for anything that could end their spree of raping the American public. That means they gotta have us rednecks. Ask Bob "Pipsqueak" Corker.
  8. There used to be a place that served elk steaks here in town. It has been a good while for me.
  9. I like Elk a lot better than venison.
  10. This came out yesterday. Kinda the way I viewed it until I got corrected... http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2017/10/johannes-paulsen/nras-position-bump-fire-stocks-genius/
  11. Looks great! Front sight too
  12. To me, the 8" chef knife is the most useful tool in the pile. My Henkel knife is fine as long as I take care of it. No dishwasher! It's due for a first sharpening. They get a lot better... https://www.chefknivestogo.com/
  13. Saying that "Washington is broke" is going easy on the true culprits. The Republican party is broke. We have a bunch of greasy, self centered, dishonest POLITICIANS in there. Those greasy politicians are all the same, no matter what party. Now, when it comes to party, the Democrat PARTY wants to eliminate the Second Amendment. The Republican PARTY wants to preserve the Second Amendment. We don't need to confuse that. We have the same problem in the State.
  14. I read somewhere that he had some training. 400 yards is some pretty easy shooting with a rest. Elevation data would be useful, but wouldn't have to be done on site. A computer program will get you on steel easily if the gun is zeroed..
  15. Not familiar with cold steel kitchen knives. I have these and am real happy with them. I have added a couple to the set... https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/j-a-henckels-international-classic-16-piece-knife-block-set/1040229102
  16. My message to myself. Not really me, but helps me remember the fight.
  17. You're right. I hate it when the NRA calls it wrong. I reckon they did this time.
  18. I hope you're wrong
  19. I'm pretty sure he hates you too. Looks like we gotta use our thumbs
  20. I'm pretty sure Lenny hates me.
  21. I don't know the answer to that. I don't think they will pass anything. There is no compromise if the ATF just reverses their position. AFIK, they can do that. If they do, ain't #### any of us can say about it. We're back to using our thumbs.
  22. Yeah... a tank ain't worth a damn in an "every blade of grass" scenario. They're not really efficient at killing one guy at a time. If it ever turns into an all out shooting war with American citizens, it could wind up making Iraq look like a training exercise.
  23. You may be missing the big thing. The NRA wants the ATF to take this up by simply revoking their approval. Their position is to keep it out of congress. Now, if we just gotta have our bump stocks, the the list may expand as you say.
