That's about the size of it. No matter what Obama says (or really intends), this latest will be nothing more than another attack. The NRA refused to play. I'm with them.

Actually, you don't need sights on a .45 at all. Shooting in the general direction of the target will destroy it.

Not so sure about that. It's going to have X amount of attenuation. Damage to circuits from EMP is complex. There ARE EMP proof enclosures, and it's nothing more than shielding. I'm sure there's filtering on any outside wiring as well, but the primary mechanism is shielding.

If I was Obama, I would do exactly what he did. He knows that no major gun control is going to get through the house. More likely, no kind of gun control at any level will get thru the house. I have been poking a couple of anti's since this came out. He may not have changed their opinion, but he may have gone a long way toward shutting some of them up. Like I said, may wind up being nothing but win for us. The Brady bunch wants everybody to believe we're a bunch of crazy rednecks.
