  1. We ALL need to email the Brady Bunch and ask where they got them.
  2. I don't know. I figure they might limp wrist a .40
  3. So... how is President Obama gonna ban those assault clips? Is he gonna show Boener that dumbass video, and just talk him into it?
  4. The 1911 would be the single best handgun if is wasn't such a pain in the ass to clean. Speaking of... I may get to mine tonight.
  5. Hillary can kiss my old flabby butt.
  6. Stick around then. The gays in the military thread was a classic! No need for a seperate section.
  7. There is a wide range of political views here. I don't disagree with Democrats on everything, but I sure as hell disagree with their position on guns. We have some pretty liberal folks on here. What we don't have are anti-gun folks. They seem to vanish quickly in a little puff of smoke.
  8. Yep. Reusable ammo, if you're willing to go drag it out of the woods
  9. good idea
  10. We covered slings in excruciating detail. In the end. TGO David and others steered me toward the Vickers 2 point. I got no regrets. i DID opt for QD attachments, because I shoot a lot without a sling.
  11. Can't speak for the .308. On the 5.56, it doesn't seem to mitigate any recoil, but the muzzle stays put. Doesn't seem to be any louder than an A2, or offend people next to me like a standard brake. BTW... A lot of stuff on sling systems here. Wound up going with a Vickers 2 point with QD attachments. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/firearm-accessories/50982-m4-sling-systems.html
  12. Already did vary. I love mine. The Vortex is the best flash hider out there, so carry on.
  13. You might wanna swap that Vortex for a Battlecomp. I figure the lighter the gun, the more difference it will make.
  14. Naw. He's just been eating his own Crayons.
  15. Of course not. But, he could be lifted up into the Kingdom at any moment. He's truly blessed... at least he says he is.
  16. Quit it. You're a geek too . Ok, I'm done. Back to religion
  17. Crimson is a mastering guy. He polishes it, then I unpolish it
  18. MY LCP prints in a pair of jeans
  19. Haven't priced them lateley. They were going for $8500 or so. No biggie for guys like you. You'll pop 10 grand for the "Supersilk 9000" EQ
  20. Bear in mind that we're processing the living crap out of the audio, so any ambience get's pulled way up with dry mics. It's especially true when you have 5 of them open, and pointed in all different directions.
  21. Gerry was actually the Guinea pig for that. When I first got to town, his mics sounded like crap. It was a small room, and you could hear exactly how small on the air. All the mics were picking up off axis crap from the other positions. So, when I did the first room for him, I made it dead. The mics sounded great. Even the artists sounded good when they would drop in and do something acoustic. It worked so well for Gerry that I did 16 more like it. It's hard to make a radio studio behave with a big console, big furniture, and relatively small rooms.
  22. I build 'em dead. All of my rooms in Nashville have 1" soundsoak on every wall. I've done some in other cities that have had a mix of live and dead. I hope Glen's room doesn't have any sharp edges. I can find out. We own the studio. EDIT: Radio is kinda tough with the heavy audio processing and a lot of open mics pointed in all directions. it was the ONLY way to make the Gerry House show work. Gerry approved too, and he's one of the pickiest guys I know.
  23. Going back exclusively to radio, where the walls are well padded.
