I'm pretty intrigued by these things too. I'm not really interested in doing anything other than 5.56. If a part wears out over time, so what? I'm thinking light profile barrel, a receiver with no forward assist, and a composite free float tube. top it off with plastic sights and the lightest reliable reflex optic I can find. Should make a helluva boat rifle.

With the exception of their very rare anti-gun stabs, I love those guys. Last week was "weener" week. Those two shows expose more idiots for what they are, than anything on TV. There IS some bias, but at least they back it up well.

Some folks turn into idiots after two beers, and others can drink a whole case and stay out of trouble. Letereat is obviously in the middle somewhere. Anyway, it turned into a fun thread.

That's their SOP. They'll never "find" the guy that did the thumping in Mississippi. I'm thinking it's a lack of enthusiasm on law enforcement's part :-)
