  1. The amount of current that will cause electrocution is under 1 amp. That small amount of current flowing near a gun would no be enough to induce any sparks. You can draw much higher current than that through a human body if the voltage is high enough, but at that point, it wouldn't matter if your gun exploded.
  2. I wonder why, since the newer version is a lot more accurate than previous versions. The Accu-Strut is another 80-100 bucks, depending on the model.
  3. No kidding. It will get posted in the "my new stuff" thread, and then he'll trade it for a goat skinnin' knife, or something.
  4. I have never liked the grip either, but my Gen 4 g23 is a different story. I traded a CZ P01 for it. I also have an M&P9. Nothing wrong with the Gen4 grip.
  5. It will put some pretty good dings in the berm too. Not sure anybody should get pissed at ORSA for not allowing it.
  6. In that case, I think it's a real good deal. I have that same rifle. I stuck it in a Hogue stock to tone it down a little, but it still has the accustrut. Pretty accurate for a mini.
  7. If it's going to SCOTUS, it needs to happen before Obama appoints any more judges. Hopefully, the NRA will jump into the fight as well.
  8. I thought ORSA won't allow .50 cal
  9. I know what you mean. He's really OK, once you get used to him . BTW... kudos to my friend Daniel
  10. Nothin' wrong with a Glock, especially a 19. Light, reliable, and the perfect size. Just don't point it at your butt. They don't tell you that in the book.
  11. I like oval rail systems a lot better. I don't think you will find one for that kind of money, though. If you do look at others, don't forget to compare weight. It varies significantly.
  12. i have bought several guns from Specialty. Good folks.
  13. Did you treat it with their Draw-Ez product? Last holster I got from them, I blocked it for 20 minutes or so, treated with Draw-Ez, and it was good to go.
  14. Nothing wrong with the Galco gun belts
  15. What is going to happen that would require 6 months worth of food? I've been to several disasters, and haven't seen anything like that yet. It would have to be geographically large enough to wipe out all sources of relief.
  16. Never used my Leupold thingie on an AR. Never figured a muzzle device would be precise enough. The Leupold thingie comes in handy when you're replacing a zeroed optic with a new one. Doesn't matter how many AR's I've owned.
  17. I'm thinking about getting one of these with quick mounts. It will share a rifle with an Aimpoint on a lower 1/3 mount. Since the Millet mount needs to be high enough to clear a folded Magpul MBUS rear sight, I'm thinking about just going with the same lower 1/3 height with the scope. That should get the front sight mostly out of the way.
  18. This explains it pretty well. The scope has some ranging capability... http://www.millettsights.com/downloads/DMS_Manual_1LIM_WEB.pdf
  19. That's it. Mine had the round foregrip. It has Hogue furniture on it now.
  20. That's what I wound up getting when I bought mine. I also fondled an NEF, and wouldn't hesitate to buy one if I was trying to save a few bucks.
  21. I think I'm gonna drink some Jack and shoot my Glock in the air. Just kidding, Jack gives me heartburn.
  22. Recon where the bullet went? Nashville TN Commercial Roofing - Collier Roofing
  23. Maybe so. But, it has NOTHING to do with the way <I> handle my guns. If it did, there would have been some things shot up over the last 30 or so years. I have no problem with folks that choose not to drink. I have a real problem with somebody choosing it for me. If you don't want to drink, then don't. If you choose to drink and do stupid stuff, then pay the price. Some folks handle it just fine. That's WHY it's legal.
  24. Nice pics!
