Start with ANYTHING electronic, and not just consumer grade stuff either. I have had high grade blank circuit boards made in China, where the boards and final products were assembled and tested in the US. If I'm not mistaken, even some of the military products had chinese boards. Hard to tell just looking at them.

They should probably be more concerned over the "gigantic military expendature". We suck at almost everything, but we still dish out the very best ass whippin's :-). I may have Chinese underwear, but all my weapons are made somewhere else. The American ones seem to work better than the rest.

I just think destroying quality weapons because they were involved in a crime makes about as much sense and sacrificing chickens in your back yard. Again, if they just sold them the same way they sell LEO trade-ins, it should eliminate any of the agency's liability.

I think you give Obama more credit than he deserves. We were hosed when he walked in the door. We would be hosed with a Republican president, just because of the politics around the whole thing. The downgrade happened AFTER congress voted on a 'plan" to fix things. In that "plan", the Republicans got more of what they wanted than the Democrats. Blaming it on one guy is just buying into the BS. Those folks are ALL working for votes, and are will to destroy the country to get them.

They should just sell them in bulk to the highest bidding FFL. Then, there will at least be a new point of origin. Shame on those guns for doing more crime. Obviously, repeat offenders shoud be destroyed. Personally, I wouldn't mind if they ground up all the ring of fire junk. I downgraded them when they pissed away all the money I gave them for Social security. It will be interesting to see the impact, just to give us a taste of what a full blown default would have done.

My M&P has the Apex parts, and makes me a little nervous. It has the DCAEK kit, so the trigger spring is a little heavier than stock. The second stage is pretty light. I can see how you could hang the trigger on something and make it go. Glad the bullet didn't find you.
