  1. Old, but relevant. Stupid laws get ignored. https://hudsonvalleyone.com/2016/07/07/massive-noncompliance-with-safe-act/
  2. A minigun would have done lots more damage. With the lack of security, he probably could have snuck it in. But, my theory has been that this was all about the AR 15. Hard to get all those Libs on a minigun banning tizzy. I think he was going for an AR-15 ban.
  3. You're right. DEFINITELY shouldn't wear it to the gun show.
  4. It ain't that effective. My guess is that somebody could shoot someplace up with a "pistol" and they may not call it anything but an AR-15 on CNN. The bump stocks on the Vegas rifles actually increased the death tolls over regular AR-15's (only because accuracy didn't matter). An SBR won't do any better than a carbine.
  5. It's not like you would have to lock it in an offshore vault. Probably fine if you just didn't wear it to the gun show.
  6. The NRA backed away from this because they believed (I assume) that it would be impossible to defend to sane people outside our group. A "pistol" with a functional stock that is called something else would be hard to defend too. So... I don't own any. In my feeble opinion, "a reasonable person would believe" is a good test for lots of things. It's easy to defend an AR-15. Bump stocks, not so much. So far, there is only one proven practical use for them, and it was 100% evil.
  7. Some truth here. We do have real discussion in some of my circles. We even try to use good facts. Then, there's the Facebook Arfcom group . There is SOME good. It's the best way for me to keep up with friends and family. Don't argue politics out there too much. I am just about to admit defeat. Good thing I'm old
  8. If you see a turd (not saying it was), you can describe it in many ways. "Turd" is one of those ways. Maybe not the most eloquent, but plenty effective.
  9. This is a lot more than the NRA's fight. This is the full force of the Democrat Party, and should be met with the full force of the Republican Party. We'll see how that goes, after the tear jerking wears down.
  10. No way to go wrong with a G19.
  11. Oh no! Just when I was getting ready to replace all my Magpul stocks. Pisses me off that they would ban ANYTHING. Just glad it was something that I wouldn't use for free. I know... just the beginning. So, I will reword. At least it's a law I won't have to ignore.
  12. I agree with you. If it had just been up to GOA to defend the Second Amendment, there wouldn't be one right now. The NRA isn't even close to perfect. But, THEY swing the big bat. Nothing against GOA.
  13. Clip from the Reuters article... Citigroup declined to comment on the idea though it noted in a blog that current payment systems do not allow it to see exactly what items customers are buying at the checkout aisle. Citi provides store-branded credit cards to various retailers. None currently sell guns but if Citi were in talks with such a retailer, Skyler said, “we would want to see these best practices used at their point-of-sale.”
  14. Bought my last two lowers on a Mastercard. If it had been refused because they were trying to CONTROL me, I would have paid cash for four. They really are picking on a HUGE group of people. Maybe they will learn Hillary's lesson. Chasing away money is stupid.
  15. Yep. This isn't new for those assholes. I remember when they bumped Hickok45
  16. I already cast my vote for the 19. I own five other Glocks as well. But, I'll own a 26 as well. On my short list.
  17. I hate Kroger anyway. Just adding this to the list
  18. Very nice gun! I'm a big Geissele fan anyway. I own five of their triggers.
  19. I want to have a conversation with this bright spot...
