  1. You can probably reload them that cheap. I've been loading .223 lately, but wouldn't want to load noise makers with my gear. If I was worried about my rifles, I would probably get a progressive and go to it.
  2. I wouldn't shoot it in my varmint AR, but there's no point in doing that anyway. My chrome lined carbines love it. Fact is, even if it DOES shorten barrel life some, I'm money ahead.
  3. I suppose, since our society has become too stupid to realize that sometimes, a good old fashioned ass whippin' can do a lot of good.
  4. If his antics were just bizarre, it wouldn't matter. His antics are dangerous
  5. Ya know... Kwik really needs some good old fashioned Police Brutality. As the old saying goes, there's a place for everything.
  6. Capbyrd may be the biggest Ruger fan in the whole world. I think he has a tatoo :-)
  7. I got attitude from them last time I was there. Since then, I have been able to find what I need from other places that appreciate my business.
  8. It needs a good recoil pad. I haven't found a solution except for the aftermarket pad and the PRS stock. I don't want to add that much weight to the rifle. Not interested in the Ace stock.
  9. It kicks a LOT harder when you push the loads a little
  10. I've lost a few too. Haven't shot it at the range yet. Last time was in a bean field.
  11. I haven't seen a lot of great prices at the few shows I've been to. If I see something I want, I'll offer what I'm willing to pay. I had one dealer haggle himself, and dropped the price on a stripped lower as I was handing it back to him. I bought the lower.
  12. A few TGO folks have shot mine. They had lust in their eyes. None have come over to the dark side yet
  13. I've seen every employee in a bar jump into a fight. It would be real hard to define someone as "security" if they have other primary duties, especially when every employee may have to control an idiot at times. Event security is much better defined, even though it may be exempt from licensing requirements.
  14. This. The laws don't work.
  15. Who knows. Do bouncers need a license? Doormen?. Bar tenders? I've seen all of the above bust some heads when the need arose. No law against being armed if you have a permit. Not saying it won't happen... just saying it might not.
  16. Turned brass works pretty well. You need a real good lathe. Bottom of the page... Display Products
  17. I don't load pistol. I currently only load 2 calibers. I'll probably wind up saving money on .458 SOCOM once I have done enough of them. I MAY save some money on .223 on the high end stuff, but I'm going for quality. I'll keep buying Wolf for my noise makers. Reloading is way too much work for target shredding.
  18. He wasn't acting as a security guard. He was just defending himself.
  19. I have a full size M&P9, and it's the nicest shooting pistol I own. Good choice, especially for a new shooter.
  20. I LIKE Tannerite. Haven't hunted it locally, but don't recall seeing it either.
  21. I can't hear anything out of the blaster. The tweeters are pretty linear, and I'm not overdriving them. Piezos don't really consume any significant power. You can't burn them up. You can break them by exceeding their rated voltage. Here are some of the commercial products. Funny that I stumbled onto the same tweeters before I knew the product existed... Ultrasonic Devices
  22. Hearing damage is related to spl and time. I wasn't trying to fry his ears. It's about 136dbspl off the front of the array. He was some distance away from me, so I needed full power to pucker his butt.
