The 66's were expensive at the time. I had a nickel model 19 around then. Bought it from a cop, maybe so he could upgrade to a 66. My memory is fuzzy. That was a LONG time ago.

Yep. BTW, Limbsaver makes pads for most of the Magpul stocks now. So, I don't even get logo prints from my SOCOM these days.

It's a cheap PSA milspec stock with a good recoil pad. Thing kicks like a shotgun

Finally got a chance to shoot this thing. Loads of fun. The Limbsaver is necessary IMO.

Except that 300 BLK is a 5.56 case. There was a problem with PMAGS because the front of the mags were notched for 5.56 bullets. It's why 458 SOCOM has a problem with PMAGS. Now, the follower will tilt on the cheesy grade Lancers, but they don't interfere with the projectiles like the PMAGS. The follower on the good grade is as good as a PMAG Cheesy grade (L5) on the left, good grade (L5 AWM) on the right. These are 20 rounders...

I started using Lancers for the 458. There are two grades. I have a bunch of the cheesy grade loaded with 300BO with Dolomite's bracelets. Haven't had any trouble, but don't shoot a lot of 300 BO either.

Sounds like they are building a lot of guns these days. Good thing. BTW... I believe the Snowflake is a little cheaper to shoot with Sam's Diet projectiles. It would be dirt cheap if you could reload the blanks. I understand that's not a good idea with this thing
