  1. You may not be able to tell with a scale. The weight of your loaded ammo may vary more than 5 grains anyway.
  2. Sgt. Joe comes to mind. Haven't seen one of his posts yet, maybe because they're invisible now
  3. There are laws in some other states.
  4. Same here. There's plenty of contrast.
  5. A boresnake won't get copper fouling. It does a great job of protecting the barrel from corrosion though. i use CLP with mine too.
  6. You sound like me. Keep the good toys in the living room . My girfriend keeps moving mine. The only problem I would have with the tool boxes... it will probably be the first thing a thief will steal.
  7. I think I like it too. Sure was a shock the first time it loaded.
  8. 1-2-3--5-6-7-8
  9. The OP ain't the only one that breaks cheesey rods. The Tipton rod is great.
  10. Boresnakes are great for quickie cleaning. I still use a cleanng rod for real cleaning. Not that i didn't want the boresnakes to do it all. They just won't. Try this rod. I doubt that you can break it... Deluxe 1-Piece Cleaning Rod 22 to 26 Cal 36 Carbon Fiber 8 x 32 Thread
  11. Yep. I have a Midway label sitting at UPS in Nashville... until Monday
  12. Back atcha. Gonna ride up to Ky and see the family.
  13. I'm gonna stay home play with my guns. Not a big fan of shopping, even at the least crowded times. Besides, the man in the brown truck will bring everything you need except beer and gun powder
  14. Can't beat an Eotech, but he wants a little magnification. Look at this one. I'm pretty sure it's the one Duce has. I really liked his in person... https://www.primaryarms.com/Primary_Arms_3X_Compact_Scope_p/pac3x.htm PA is a great outfit to deal with. I have owned two of their red dots. Still have one.
  15. I wouldn't use it in a garage, because it hates moisture. I'm lucky... my reloading are is in the house.
  16. Only one problem I can see. You are gonna be mopping up powder, no matter how careful you are. The tile will have some cracks.
  17. I REALLY like your PA optic. I would get one if I had a place to put it.
  18. Me too, with lots of garlic. Good stuff. It's safe to say that I'm not going on a nut hunt if the SHTF. With so many of the details up in the air, it's hard to say. If total lawlessness breaks out, I expect I'll wind up shooting a lot of folks to survive. Gotta know more of the rules before I know how to play. There's more than one way to end the world as we know it.
  19. 1/4" masonite makes a real good surface. That's probably what I'll use when I replace my makeshift reloading bench. Havent decided how much plywood thickness I'll put underneath it.
  20. Yeah. This woman hates 'em too... Take Action - Carolyn McCarthy for Congress
  21. I don't know. They seem to be on every significant issue, so I send them money. I don't send them a lot of money, at least not compared to what I send those sorry ass pieces of in Washington.
  22. You gain Power/Political clout by picking your battles and winning consistently. Nothing wrong with supporting other organizations. I guess the NRA could stand their ground on every little issue. Would that make them the Super NRA?
  23. My girlfriend has been one for years. hasn't really hung with the Nashville folks very much.
  24. Depending on the mall. Purse snatchings, parking lot muggings, and sometimes even shoplifting can be some of the best cardio you can get.
  25. It depends on how you're going to use it too. If I was a competitive shooter, I would go with a custom. For range play, my cheap springfield is just fine. I'm not going to carry it.
