  1. Put my name on one.
  2. I know. Did quite a bit of reading since David's post.
  3. Well, I missed this little pearl of wisdom in my research. I have been battling runout, even with top end Redding dies. PM headed your way.
  4. +1 for Joebob
  5. The RCBS prep center is maybe in my future. I have a hornady case prep assistant for chamfer/debur and primer pocket uniformer. I also have a Hornady case trimmer. I'm really thinking about a Gracie or Giraud case trimmer, which will eliminate most of the need for the RCBS. That's why I haven't bought yet. I have Sinclair concentricty and neck thickness gauges. I also have an RCBS case micrometer for .223. I have a Redding flash hole reamer, and use it with the supplied handle. It's a one-time thing, and isn't even required with Lapua brass.
  6. For those that left early, you missed him talking about his buddy Tex Grebner
  7. ... and you didn't lose any fingers or toes
  8. .458 SOCOM with 10 rounds in the mag. Hunter: 1, Mutant deer: 0
  9. I'm a huge fan of the Hogue grip. I have MOE grips on my noise makers, and Hogues on the others.
  10. Congrats Greg. Sounds like you're busting with pride, as it should be.
  11. Congrats!
  12. I just placed an order at Midway. The 80 Bergers were on sale. The other two items were full price.
  13. Hiring a pro to move my safe was one of my brighter moments.
  14. If I was going to color one at this point, it would probably be OD. It's not quite as 'loud" as FDE. Everybody has different color preferences. Seems to me, it would be pretty easy to swap the parts to somebody for basic black if they're not banged up... especially the MOE stuff. BTW... are you gonna try their new overmolded grip?
  15. Weighing charges is slow, even with an automatic dispenser. I have a couple of power throwers, and they're both consistent enough for safe pistol rounds. I just want my rifle rounds dead on, because it impacts accuracy.
  16. It's just Walmart reading glasses for me. I use a Chargemaster, so I have a lot of confidence in the charge weight. It also keeps track of the number of charges. There's either powder in the case, or there isn't. That's pretty easy to see.
  17. Yep. I could have easily lived with the dark, but the light is more comfortable to me.
  18. All my rifles are black, but I like FDE and OD. You're not risking much by picking a color and going with it.
  19. Ah... Lapua. I love those guys.
  20. The Classic cast is a great press. I have the breechlock version. I would consider a progressive if I was loading a buttload of pistol ammo. For what I'm doing, single stage is the way to go.
  21. Get the lyman roll pin punches, and then a good regular punch set. You will also need a castle nut wrench. My best one is a cheapie. Roll Pin Punch Set 4-Piece Steel Hammer Punch Set Hard Plastic Case Multi-Tool AR-15 Mil-Spec Steel
  22. Truth
  23. I would on the fast centerfire rifles, ay least.
  24. +1 on the hand primer. I've done it on the press, and like the hand primer much better. Been decades since I used a classic loader. Forgot about the hammer/primer deal.
  25. Hope he doesn't have to go back and retype all that stuff
