  1. 6.8 AR has a lock and load progressive, and he makes great ammo. Rifle and pistol.
  2. Maybe you are . My RCBS scales have to each.
  3. Lester, I have 3 electronic powerder scales, and they all came with check weights, even the cheapie.
  4. That Lee scale is a serious turd. I have one, and used it once. It's accurate, but a huge pain in the butt. If you want a balance scale, get an RCBS. I use the RCBS Chargemaster. It's only accurate to .1 grain, but my velocities are more consistent than Black hills ammo. FWIW, the Lee Powder measure sucks too.
  5. Great!
  6. I gotta admit. When I was driving a lot of interstate miles, I was pretty aggressive about pressuring the left lane coma cases. I never drove 80, but would lock my cruise on 77 or 78. My favorite is the folks that are scared of semi's, so they get next to them, and just drive the same speed. My solution... the crazy man behind you is much scarier than that semi.
  7. 1 MOA is roughly 10 inches at 1000 yards. That uncertainty exists even after you're dialed in with wind conditions. Yep, cold bore kills at a mile would be 100% luck, unless there's NO wind.
  8. I'm guessing Frugal's will wind up stocking it too, if they don't already.
  9. I figure they get to the bottom of it. I'm guessing the wall idea won't pass the giggle test, even with the blathering idiots that are running our schools these days.
  10. Yep. That's why the more successful competition guys dump their scoring rounds as fast as they can, hoping that conditions don't change. As competent as the military snipers are, there's some luck involved in those record shots.
  11. If they were shooting at targets with no backstop, the bullets could land in close proximity, even at a mile. It's gonna wind up being the target shooters.
  12. You really wouldn't expect the "make sure it never happens again" crowd to do any of the math. They need to find the idiots that did this, and slap the hell out of them. Hopefully, the "ballistics experts" will inform them that a wall is a real stupid idea. It needs to be a bullet proof bubble.
  13. Using factory data can bite you in the butt unless you just luck up and get the published muzzle velocity. Best to measure your loads with a chrony. The BC numbers on good bullets, like SMK's, appear to be on the money.
  14. I had an ap with a JBM engine on my iphone. Nothing on my Droid yet. The good aps will actually go out and get the current weather conditions. So far, I've just printed out a sight zero adjust table for elevations. That has proven to be dead accurate if I know the real muzzle velocity, and the weather conditions in the program are accurate. I use the program that being resold by Oehler Research on my laptop. Seems to be real accurate with good data. Wind is a crap shoot. I have a Ketrel weather meter that will collect decent weather and wind speed data at the shooting location, but wind can vary significantly between the gun and the target.
  15. I have stuff all around it. .243, .270, 30/30, and .458 SOCOM. Just never saw a need to jump on it.
  16. I have 4 .223's. I'll probably swap it for some of that, if I ever run out of what I have. There should be a huge pile of dead bodies protecting me WAY before I run out.
  17. I'm weird. .308 isn't even on my list.
  18. Don't know. I'm not into combat. This one is worth it to me for more perspective on long range shooting. It's easy to sit there with dope tables. I want to learn more about the tricks.
  19. Bulleit is right at the top of the pile.
  20. I figured. Still probably worth every penny
  21. Just got a ship confirmation. Finally out.
  22. I love the PRS stock. I have it on one of my favorite rifles. Turns the rifle into one helluva club too
  23. Yep, I signed a Carolyn Mccarthy petition as Haywood Jablowmey. 10,000 names is a loser. Need lots more.
  24. One of the main reasons my girlfriend lives with me today is because of Booker's and a few ice cubes. Don't remember what I said, but it must have been pretty good.
  25. Maybe. I sip Booker's straight out of a flask sometimes. It's not a good idea to guzzle it, though.
