  1. You can shorten the first stage travel. The Geissele SSA triggers aren't adjustable. They're combat triggers. They make adjustable ones for competition.
  2. I already have a couple.
  3. Oh... I've been thinking about it. Then, you know what happens next... Magpul time . I'm trying to practice a little restraint.
  4. I haven't had a bit of trouble with it. You just have to relieve the pressure on the spring when you're done with it. I do that with any spring loaded torque wrench. You do need to supplement the bits that come with it. Standard 1/4" hex drive bits. Worth every penny to me.
  5. Oh yeah. A Wheeler fat Wrench. One of my most used tools, and not just for mounting optics.
  6. Stolen from another forum... According to the NRA: 50% humidity at 70 degrees is considered ideal "Arms Museum" storage conditions.
  7. Add a set of roll pin punches. I have a 4 piece set that seems to work for everything on the guns I have.
  8. I have to watch that section again. The only unknown variable is BC, so I'm assuming that's what you tweak to true the trajectory curve. I won't be using Todd's software. The 1350 number is pure gold.
  9. I still want to try a Dolomite kit on one of my geissele triggers. One of these days...
  10. A two stage needs to be light enough that you can slap it for rapid fire. A stock AR trigger is supposed to be a single stage, but is almost a 2 stage in practice because of the takeup. I hate the stock AR trigger. That's why I have 4 of them in plastic bags.
  11. I have two Geissele SSA's, and one SSAE. I love them. They're 2 stage. They're not cheap. A lot of folks, including me, think they're the best. Geissele Automatics - Quality Triggers for the Warfighter and Competitor
  12. I don't deal with Outpost either. They can keep their attitude, and somebody else will get my money.
  13. You sound like me. Two day shipping from Midway using UPS ground. Probably as good as you're gonna do if they have them in stock
  14. Those guys can't get a break. One of my favorite stores too. Good folks.
  15. I have one of these. Could be perfect. The right side of the top folds down. Mainstays Kitchen Island Wooden Storage Cart - Walmart.com
  16. Congrats! If you haven't already figured it out, change the bottom plate on the mag to the one with the finger lip. I carried mine yesterday.
  17. A real decent electric smoker from the girlfriend. Then, the reloading elves slipped me a new Forster press, Hornady OAL gauge and bullet comparator, and an upgrade for my Redding sizing die. If those elves could cook...
  18. And, people think playing with guns is dangerous BTW... Congrats smiddy. AR's are lots of fun.
  19. It started after the whiskey thread. Hmmm
  20. Yes they're screwing up. I wouldn't be suprised if they handed the election to Obama on a silver platter.
  21. And then picking the one that isn't Bourbon. It's all good. I like JD Single barrel
  22. I would think a no go gauge would tell the tale by itself. I don't think you would need a go unless you're actually adjusting headspace. Your ammo is a go gauge. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
  23. OK... I think you won the contest!
