  1. Poor Peewee. Say hi to Tupac for us.
  2. And, don't forget this poor little feller... index=1&feature=plcp
  3. Yep. I plan to seat a few bullets before I pop the first one.
  4. Miller Lite beer. Gonna be smoking some chickens. Long haul drinkin'...
  5. I figured. And, I wouldn't be able to keep myself from donating if the fight heats up. I guess that's why I didn't do it last year. I will always support the NRA, especially when they really need it.
  6. I'm pretty big on reading reviews, mostly on Midway's site. No matter what product, there's almost always a little pile of haters at the bottom. There are even two one star reviews (out of 93) on the Jewell trigger for the Remington 700. THAT's the best trigger I own. The Bill Springfield slam thread wasn't real believable. I don't like sending my guns anywhere, but probably wouldn't shy away from the trigger job itself. In the single stage/ 2 stage debate, I was a single stage guy. Still am, except for my carbines. It's just personal preference.
  7. I'm mourning the loss of a bunch of good steaks. Still not as tragic as a beer truck wreck.
  8. That's funny and tragic, all at the same time.
  9. Let's chalk this up as a newbie thing. I remember when Brian first showed up, and nobody would talk to him? The paper itself is still a liberal rag. Brian is an exception. It took him a little while to prove it.
  10. I think you're supposed to take them to your friendly Lowe's man, so they can shoot them into outer space or something. Remember, mercury is hazardous like lead, and that stuff they put in Happy Meals.
  11. I guess there's ONE good thing about Democrats. As long as you have them, some folks are gonna buy a lot more guns than they need . God bless America (and no place else)
  12. If CFL's have less mercury than a can of tuna, why can't you throw them in the trash? That's as stupid as ROHS.
  13. None of them are going to be perfect for what they charge. I always stop and take a look if something doesn't feel right. My brass has good pockets. For the stuff I'm doing, I have to use real good brass anyway. I'm not loading big quantities either.
  14. One more thing to note about D&T. The guns that are strapped to the employees have NOT been cleared . I have no problem with D&T's rules. An accidental discharge in their store could ruin more than just their day.
  15. Shooting a lot of rounds will do it eventually. I'm just impatient. Also, when I bought mine, .380 was scarce as hen's teeth. Polishing tools were readily available. I wasn't going to carry an unreliable pistol, especially after the problem and fix were positively identified.
  16. The NRA posted a link to Brians story on Facebook about 49 minutes ago.
  17. Yep. It's really stupid to go back packing in Iran. Why? Because Iran sucks, and they bent over backwards to confirm it.
  18. Pretty smart frog. Didn't take him long to realize that the guy really needed his thumb bit.
  19. Chamber! Check it with a dental pick. The feed ramp wasn't that bad
  20. I thought the same thing :-).
  21. Ok Lester... after priming 50 rounds of .223 brass last night, and fighting my Lee CheeseyPrime most of the way, I finally fired it. RCBS universal on the way!
  22. Yep. It takes a little while to scrub tooling marks out of steel using brass too. I ain't skeerd. I polished my chamber
  23. The chamber on my LCP was pretty rough when it was new. The shell casing was trying to hang up on the top of the chamber. I noticed this while cycling the action before I ever took it to the range. I did a chamber/feed ramp polish on the gun. I would have to dig for the article now. The chamber polish job involved fine grit sand paper and a pencil, followed by the bullet shaped felt bit and rouge that comes in the Dremel polishing kit. goole fluff and buff for the P3AT. There has been a lot of rounds thru the gun, and it has never malfuntioned while firing. I even loaned it to a young friend, and he shot the crap out of it.
