  1. The very minute there's not somebody keeping me from it!
  2. That's a good way for Bubba to wind up married to a big hairy guy
  3. I think they did touch on that once. They do the "don't try this at home" thing, and mention licensing all the time. Guess they figure if bubba tries to go out and buy a machine gun, he'll learn soon enough. The show has an audience for a reason... it ain't a documentary.
  4. Dislike them or not, they're good for gun owners. We are NOT the target audience. There's no more BS on that show than there is on Fox or CNN. It's TV.
  5. Yeah. My .223 is 13-14 pounds. I am using some extension on the scope, but needed a 20 MOA riser anyway.
  6. SMK's always seem to work. Nice rifle. That PRS really helps me get on a high power scope.
  7. F*** the Natives
  8. It has some subdued badness with that box mag hanging out the bottom :-)
  9. I'm thinking the Saiga will be more fun. I can't imagine CZ ruining their rifles either. It really depends on you though. Some folks shoot a lot of .22. I almost always shoot center fire, and my .22's wind up living in the safe.
  10. My mini came with the ATI stock. Now it has a Hogue, and looks like a regular rifle.
  11. Sobriety checkpoints may be the ONLY way to catch some "drunk" drivers.
  12. I'm in the Priest lake area. I'm way closer. I don't load near as many rounds as 6.8, so he probably needs them more than me. I still have 400-500 350's left. Just have no need for the 300's
  13. Dang. Beat me to it. I use CCI 350's for the SOCOM. and have an unopened brick of 300's that I don't use.
  14. It's truer than you might think. Magpul parts, Geisseley triggers, etc. are seldom discounted. The cost is all about the parts.
  15. Sure Cap. I have a little over $2k in my 458 with the optic, and it was a build. I did buy an assembled upper. It's what I want.
  16. Not dissin' the Sport at all. YOU can go buy parts at AIM. Folks that buy rifles off the rack... maybe not. I was comparing a comparable S&W off-the-rack gun to the Red Jacket off-the-rack gun. Is S&W raping their customers too? EDIT: And for what it's worth, I wouldn't buy either of those off-the-rack rifles myself. I have an account at AIM too.
  17. First of all, you can't compare the Red Jacket gun at Academy to the M&P Sport. It's much closer to the M&P MOE. I did a quick search, and all of the Internet gun dealers I saw have the MOE priced at $1k+.
  18. You beat me to it.
  19. The difference BC between that AMAX and a normal .357 Magnum bullet is real significant
  20. Glad you checked in. I kinda feel like Chuck. Time to get you guys out of there
  21. Yep. I couldn't remember ever trying that. so I grabbed my pistol, reseated the empty mag, and hit the safety. Nothing. I'm thinking tat came along after mine was built
  22. Uhhh... How could I have my magazine in wrong? My P22 isn't new. Shot hundreds of rounds thru it.
  23. Yep. I'm thinking an underground dog fence may work about as well.
  24. Final (I think) changes to the Hammer...
