I'm usually as hard on the media as it gets. In this case, I think they're just exposing something that won't be exposed any other way. "War" on drugs, "War" on terror... both contain laws that invite abuse. As AR said, police state.

Retired Magistrate from another state. I'm thinking they were BS charges, based on the accounts I've read. For such a violent guy, Zimmerman sure wasn't very good at it. I haven't found one brand that's immune to failure. I'm a stickler for new drives because of the amount of time it takes to bring up a Windows machine from a freshly formatted drive. I've never been fortunate enough to have a Ghost image when working on a friend's machine. So, it turns into a 6 hour slog by the time you istall your 4 year old version of XP, suck down all the updates, and then load all the other software that most folks use.

None of the popular scenarios will cause the world to end in a single day anyway, short of the sun exploding. Gonna be lots of pain, suffering, and killing.

I won't -1 somebody for insulting my favorite gun. I save that for commies, and folks that seriously violate the rules of the forum. Both very rare cases in these parts.

That's real hit and miss. Usually kills 'em dead. I've seen quite a few cell phones, pagers, Blackberrys, etc get dunked over the years, usually in the toilet.

And... if he dunks you in the water afterwards, your question will be answered . I guess it depends on the guy.

This. Even if you did find a magic jump length, I can't imagine a useful improvement in accuracy in a gun that's used for unsupported off hand shooting. I'm loading mine very close to max OAL to minimize pressure. That assures me that there will be some bullet jump in any chamber that's in spec.

Wow! I have done every one of those steps on my long range rifle. Hornady makes a tool to make the job easier. On a pistol? Not me. Besides, I have 3 different guns. I only want one pile of ammo.

Not saying buy an off brand. We buy lots of hard drives (few hundred computers to keep running). Would never consider a refurb. If they don't replace ALL the moving parts, it's impossible to qc for existing wear until something is close to failure.
