2. They talk about guns on here? I'll have to check that out. I like guns
3. Yeah. That's how the thread started out, and then it turned into a show your Glocks thing. I started out with wheel guns. My favorite held 5 rounds. So, high capacity has never been a big deal to me. I don't plan on any huge gun battles. My 1911's are single stack too. I don't feel under-gunned with 7 rounds, especially with an auto loader. I don't carry a backup gun either. If I was an LEO, both would be serious issues. Would I have a 36 as my only gun? Sure would. Do I think .45 has a little edge? Yes, I do.
4. Nice work!
5. I don't know. Caster's pretty violent
6. Picked my gun up from the hospital yesterday. Gonna run over to the range and see if I can make it choke. It's already been test fired, just not a lot of rounds.
7. I just don't get that. At least one of the 75 series (P01) is NATO classified. I had one, and it ran all the factory stuff just fine. I guess it does pay to do your chamber measurements. That and a bullet comparator should keep you out of hunt and peck mode.
8. I could have bought the 30. Don't like the grip.
9. I want to take a closer look. I've been looking for a good caliber. That bullet should fly just fine.
10. You just sunk the money ball. Same here
11. You don't have to include it, 'cause it's not your gun. I've been moving toward .45 recently because the hair on the back of my neck is standing straight up. The last two pistols I bought were .45, both new, and both in the last few weeks. If you don't like the caliber, then don't use it. get what you want. The ONE Glock I bought recently was a 36. FWIW, the first high capacity 9mm I bought was in the '70's. Still haven't needed those 15 rounds. The G36 is a great pistol. My ammo is cheap enough. I think the bullets were 13 cents or so.
12. The laws are written so you can't just stage a murder. Until the prosecution shows something that contradicts what's out there now, zimmeman didn't set out to kill anybody. He was digging his way out of a really tight spot, and one that most folks couldn't predict.
13. In geek speak, water shorts everything out, and causes individual devices to exceed their power dissipation limits and fail. It's almost an immediate thing. You're real lucky if that doesn't happen.
14. Let's don't leave out Crump, and all the commentary from every gun hating libtard blowhard in the country.
15. I'm thinking it would be a poor showing. If it does happen, CHMR might be better.
16. NO confrontation short of an outright PHYSICAL assault justifies bashing someone's head on the concrete. Most folks' heads aren't hard enough to take that without endangering their lives. Based on the medical evidence, it wasn't a fight... it was an attack. Why do you think getting into someone's "space" justifies attempted murder?
17. try Hogdon Extreme... http://www.hodgdon.com/smokeless/extreme/page4.php
18. Idiots. I think they're wasting their breath.
19. I'm pretty geeky when I use a French press too. I'm just lazy these days. Slip one in the chamber and mash the trigger. Coffee in about 15 seconds.
20. Add the 36. I have a 19, 23, and 36 now. They are all basically the same size, and use the same holster. I had to put a +0 extension on the 36 to stop pinky bite.
21. They're both auto indexing. One is a real old design, and the other is a newer design that fixes the quirks of the old one. I'm not familiar with all the details. Look at the difference in priming and primer disposal. Mine is set up just like this (without the light)...
22. There are two 4 hole turret presses. The Classic, which is the more expensive one is awesome. I'm using one for pistol stuff. Still lots cheaper than RCBS.
23. I have one. Good coffee. Major pain in the butt
